Well if it truly doesn't happen, I'm guessing it's payback for the shadow broker scene where Liara breaks down and weeps/cries and smiles more for male Shep than she did for FemShep. I was so disappointed to find out it was a lot more emotional with male Shep, though they did say it was a bug. Also, the only way you get the "I love you" line is if you stay faithful from ME1 to 3.

Before the thread got shut down as "perverse and utterly degrading to the actresses in question", some people managed to put together quite a repository of interviews and comments that were... friendly. My favorite was Jennifer Hale affirming how awesome Ali Hillis' bathtub is.

No way to avoide them. Have to wait for a patch to fix the problems and hopefully fix the auto-dialogue problems with the RPG and story modes respectively to give us the full control over dialogues that we were guaranteed.

has the auto dialogue actually been confirmed as a bug or are you just assuming it has to be a bug because otherwise bioware just hates us?

Not sure if it is a bug or not but it seriously pisses people off like myself that most of the game is auto-dialogue.

Male Shep went for her because she was really cute and adorable. Then he stays faithful for the sacrifices she made for him. Even to the bitter end, with like every LI trying to force themselves on to him, he still stays faithful. My Shep is a true man, and still gets shafted.

Funny though, I did LotSB and rekindled in ME 2(stayed loyal to Liara) but the import said I'd romance Liara before ME 2 but that I'd romanced no one in 2. I'm curious, too, how they might be able to 'fix' some of the bug/import issues, since a lot of them happen in auto-dialogue scenes.

Like Kaidan's whole 'I want to understand the Illusive Man' cutscene. I never got it with my FemShep who romanced him, but I got it without a problem in my MaleShep playthrough.

AFAIK LotSB doesn't count as 'romancing' in 2, because Liara isn't a LI in 2, if you seee what I mean.
