Hello!
These should be easy to answer, so I'll just skip right to it so I don't waste more of your time than what is necessary
1) I imported my savegame from ME2 and was surprised to see my character being level 31, i.e. the level where I left off in the previous game. Is this intentional?
- This is the main reason I'm writing this, as it's of some concern to me. I thought I read somewhere that you'd get one, two or, at most, three level-ups based on your ME2 character level. So a maximum starting level of 4. This might just be someone simply speculating or quoting a wrong source, but still, I can't help but wonder. My fear is that I'll hit a kind of maximum level (or at least have all my skills maxed out) around half-way through the game. I've already got a lot of skill trees advanced, one is even at maximum (after playing only one whole mission through), and I know that if the basic joy of Level Up! is taken away halfway through the game, it will decrease my gameplay joy significantly.
On the other hand, it does of course make sense that my character hasn't magically become weaker between ME2 and 3, but in this case I prefer gameplay over immersion (or whatever you wanna call it).
2) I've heard about having to choose between Action, Story and RPG mode when playing ME3, yet I was never presented with this choice myself. Is this intentional?
- I've got dialogue choices during cut-scenes, so at least I know I'm not playing in Action mode (thank the Maker). Not sure if it's RPG or Story, though, haven't really looked into what their differences are. As it is, though, I have no complaints with the gameplay, it's merely a curiosity question and possibly a way to find out if my savegame is bugged or not, also since:
3) I have the Rich achievement from Mass Effect, yet I start out with 0 credits. Is this intentional?
- Same source as I mentioned regarding my first question: I read that the above-mentioned achievement would give a boost to credits in ME3. Then again, the source is not reliable; it might just be hear-say.
Questions 2 and 3 don't really concern me that much, I simply included them because I thought they might point to a bug with carrying over my ME2 game. Question 1 is, as I said, my main concern. I've only reached my 3rd destination, including here the introductory location (keeping it spoiler-free just in case), and I've already levelled up three times, each time granting me 3 or 4 points to spend (might be a bit more/less, not sure exactly). I could jump into my game and calculate how many times I need to level up before I have enough points to max out all skill trees if need be, but it's early in the morning and my brain is having panic attacks at the mere thought of doing math right now
Thank you in advance for helping me out here! I remember all too well when I played Fallout 3 years ago and had loads of fun just exploring everything, then hit level 20 and within a short time losing the urge to continue playing. I don't need to level up constantly, I'd be more than happy if it were like in the higher levels of Neverwinter Nights where it took you ages, as long as it's there. It would really dampen my enjoyment from this game if I hit a maximum-level wall here too
Greetings from Denmark and have a nice weekend
Edit: bonus question time! Yay!

(...) But on the start screen it
says Galaxy at War: Galactic Readiness changed from 0 to 50%. Is that
meant to be the case?
I was wondering this myself when I launched my game last night. At the time I just shrugged and thought it would drop lower by itself since I hadn't actually started a new game, but now I feel like adding this question to the others above. It's not important, mind you, just in case you know anyway
