In all honesty, I have spend an enormous amount of time over the years in this game, and this... was just a giant middle finger to the face. I understand that this is a true to the word story, but the endings just seemed to be... rushed. The endings plainly made no sense to me. Citadel part of some sentinent machine? Fusing organics and machine? Shepard gaining control of all reapers by becoming papa smur---reaper? Shepard dying in the citadel destroying all reapers and geth (and EDI!) I do not accept any of these ending, they just do not fit the idea of the heroic shepard, savior of the galaxy... and think about it Bioware, the amount of money that could've been made from ending the story happily and creating DLC's that continued the story by introducing the power change and the reconstruction of the universe. Imagine the endless possibilities! For us that have stayed truly loyal to this franchise and this company (I even bought Dragon Age after finding out it was made from the makers of ME) I think we deserve a little bit better.
Hell make a 10 dollar DLC and fix the ending, I would still buy it. And sadly that's how stupidly committed I am.
New Ending: DLC?

I think most of us are in that boat, Mr. Defender of Ascalon.

Yeah. I would pay for a happy ending. Even more for a post ending gameplay instead of back to before cerberus mission. But I can't bring myself to complete the game with the game in the state it is.

It feels like the developers went into the last stage, did a bunch of shrooms and wrote up the ending. Not to insult or anything, but it feels too cliche, "Forces beyond/bigger than ourserlves" sounds like someone read the bible a bit too much and made this (heavily implied) "God" or whatever as a (heavily Implied) key unseen plot point (which we only get to know about in the last 3 minutes)

It's kind of sad how frustrated we all are with this ending. To the point that we are OFFERING to pay Bioware more money to fix this problem. Jeez... they really dropped the ball on this one.

Imagine if this was all part of Bioware's evil plot to make us buy an Ending DLC, buhahahahahahaha
Gee Bioware, what you wanna do tonight?
The same thing we do every night Pinky, try to take over the world!

Oh wow.. that show. hahah
Major throwback!
There's a little (BIG) glimmer of hope in me that Bioware didn't intend this to be the end. I mean, there's just no finality.. so many questions, unsatisfaction, etc. I like to think that they'll release some sort of add on (hopefully FREE cause they botched this) that shows either the ending was not the true one (i.e. Shepard's dream?) or what we gained from all the sacrifice that makes it worth it in the end...
... and not just some random crap of a grandpa and kid.

... It's been Biowares plan all along.
They planned for this, they made a crappy ending so they could shell out DLC to make a perfect ending.

You know what, though, Snake? I would be happy with that, and send off my $TENBUX post haste if it were the case.
I just... don't know if I can believe that.

I'd buy, I shouldn't have to but lest face it, the people holding Biowares leash would never understand the idea of releasing something for free for the sake good PR, so I'll take whatever I can get.

I really hope there is a new ending DLC otherwise I will never be able to finish this game again and that is a tragedy.
