Hello all,
I've got a small problem concerning the savegame import. ME3 seems only to find two of approx. 4-5 complete walkthroughs. Thing is, that it is basically the same ME1 character that has been imported to ME2 2 or 3 times.
Could that be part of the problem?

Are you able to verify that you are still able to load the "missing" saves in Mass Effect 2?

Why shouldn't I be able to load them? But right now, I can't since I am at work 
The last time I played them was after Arrival was released. Considering that I never touched ME2 since then and the other two saves are from that same timeframe I don't see any reason why there would be a problem in loading them in ME2.
EDIT: Could it help to load them again...walk a little bit on the Normandy and save again?

I ask because more than one individual has discovered their saves not to actually be complete.
If you are willing to extract the saves "missing" from the Mass Effect 3 importer to a computer, you can use a save editor to verify that the end-of-mission status variable is set properly.

But just to be sure: Reloading the Suicide Mission, completing it and the post-Suicide Mission DLC and saving again could make the reappear? Would be far better than starting from scratch in ME1 or tampering with the save file.

The career should already be visible provided at least one save within it was created after completion and survival of the suicide mission. If such a save exists, but the career is not found by Mass Effect 3, creating new saves will likely not resolve the problem.

The most reliable method for examining a save file is opening it in Gibbed and verifying the setting of "End Game State" to be "LivedToFightAgain".
