 happens to me in the full game and happened in the demo
never got to the multimplayer actualy!
im using window sp home edition sp 3
the game works great with max setting 
and the multiplayer works without any modification on my win7.

please tell me what should i do or if its a known issue!

problem solved !!!
by deletinf ea host files in the system32/drivers directory
