I'm glad this post was started.  I feel a little better knowing I wasn't the only one who got seriously emotional and hurt with this ending.    I have to admit I cried just a smidge I was that disappointed.  (don't really know a good word to encompase the emotion.)

It's not even like it's a sad ending - it's just completely awful compared to the rest of the game, and the series. I expected so much more.
