@JessicaMerizan Question: With all the negative feedback about the ME3 ending is Bioware going to acknowledged it, or just leave it be?

@TheSqueaky we are listening and remaining spoiler free for now as many have not played yet.

I'm not sure if this has been shared here yet, but it was posted in another thread.

I just can't comprehend why this was cut from the game.....

Leave the dagger in... once it's pulled out you are left with a gaping hole that you can no longer fill with fun-loving hours of play in the ME galaxy.

I'm taking the hugs, since that is likely all we'll get by way of comfort.

I laughed, I cried, I stood up and cheered, all quite litterally, but then in the last five minutes, it all came crumbling down. Bioware used to be my favorite game developer, but this.. it just hurts...

Seriously, how do you have such an amazing game, with such an awesome story, incredible characters, epic moments of victory and tragic moments of defeat... then RUIN IT with such a terrible ending that, to make things even worse than it already is, doesn't even make any sense?

I thought maybe DA2 was a fluke, even tried to convince myself that it "wasn't that bad" despite never playing it a second time through. ME3's ending proves otherwise, I'm afraid Bioware has become something that I just cannot continue to support.

That scene is so beautiful. If it would have cut from that to the Crucible firing and destroying the Reapers with a text epilogue commenting on your actons/LI/etc. I would have been crying with joy.

But this thread needs some laughter. I literally cried from laughing by watching this.

Reading through this thread it looks like a support group for people with PTSD and clinical depression, and for the life of me I don't know what to say. I want to be angry and sarcastic and say "You know theres a magic potion that fixes the ending to Mass Effect it's called bleach!"
But then I stop and think for a moment of just how bad I feel, haven't slept well, have had actual bad dreams from the ending about my crew dying from starvation and exposure. I don't even really know what to do with it so I sit staring at my computer searching the internet for something to help. Hugs for everyone here and hugs for all those to come.

Coming back to offer more M&Ms and another round of hugs.

I had to stop at Gamestop today to pick up an audio adapter for my new headset. There was a man in front of me in line purchasing a copy of ME3. He was all excited and happy. I had to resist the urge to tell him that he might want to have a bottle of gin on hand and to STAY OUT OF THE BEAM!

Truly, I know some people have negative things to say about the BSN community but I've chatted with some very nice, intelligent people here. It's helped me keep my perspective. The funny YouTube parody videos have given me quite a few chuckles and this thread has been very kind and supportive. Bioware is lucky, too, because they have gotten a lot of feedback. Hopefully, something positive will come out of all of this.

Stay well. *Lots of Ari-hugs*

This was the worst ending I've ever seen for a game, and I played all the way through Chaser. Who thought this was a good idea? Do they still have a job? 5.8k assests, 100% readiness and 90% of all side quests done. I feel like I wasted my time with this.

I never thought the endings would be this bad. I thought all the complaints would just be unpleaseable people crying but I was so terribly wrong.

What happened to you Bioware? You were once the bastion of great story telling and now you can't even use a pencil. I hope that sweet EA money was worth it.

I just....I just finished it. I felt like there was so much more I could have done, some way I could raise that fleet readiness bar even higher. I blamed myself, I thought surely this must be the bad ending.

It's comforting to know that at least I'm not alone. I'm not alone.

No matter how angry or depressed or betrayed I feel I still love the Mass Effect Universe and I wont let this one incident ruin it for me. Yeah I wont be pre-ordering or possibly evening purchasing another Bioware game again but I will still follow the Mass Effect Universe. I spent way too much time and money in it to just throw that away. No matter how hurt I feel

You're not alone; Sawtooth. *hugs* Don't blame yourself; it's not your fault. You did the best you could given the circumstances. Sometimes that's all we can do.

God I think the ending gave me PTSD lol.

The ending is memorable but for all the wrong reasons. I'm all for a new ending, even if its DLC.

Well, I am trying to stem the tide of anger and sadness by spreading a video I made around. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as everyone else does! (ending of the video is on a sad note, though :( )

After seeing the ending, I wanted to go to bed and see how I felt in the morning. I went to sleep last night thinking the ending was gut-wrenchingly awful, and woke up today realising it was much worse than that.

The worst part is that I have a week's holiday this week, which I intended to use on playing ME1-3 with a new set of decisions/romances, and now I can't face it. Thank you BioWare, for not only ruining ME3 in the last 5 minutes of the game, but the previous 2 games as well. Wait, is 'thank' the word I'm looking for?

Hugs for everyone in the same boat.
