It's days later and I'm still in shock...

This is literally all I can think about...I'm just so let down

I finished the game yesterday evening and I'm feelling so aweful. I cried like a baby the whole night, didn't really get much sleep. Cancelled my therapy because I'm feeling so depressed and my anxiety is through the roof. I've spend most of today just reading on the forums here..

Yeah, not sure which was worse, the ending, or the fact that it's got Bioware's name on it.

Took off work yesterday to play something else to get my mind off it.

We'll get through this together guys it's gonna be alright, just try to remember everything before the ending guys. The journey was at least amazing, though to me the game ends with that conversation with Anderson, a true bittersweet ending instead of the mindscrew we got.

Finished the game yesterday. Still affected and peed off. The more I think about how lame the ending was and how trivial it would have been to cutscene each asset to show a point to the proceeding 30 hours, the more disappointed I get with Bioware.

Really effed off I've wasted the best part of 2 1/2 years and over 400 hours on this - enough of a shock to put me off gaming for a bit!

Ignore my replic if you find it to pessimistic but...
If bioware could solve that catastrophe, that would be just heroic act from them. So the question is what should they do to save the situation dispite how that hurt all of us. Thats a hell of a problem. I am personaly steel sad no matter how much time already left since I finished the game and there obviusly are so many people like me.
Shepard was not just a charecter. Shepard is idea. And creators managed to kill it! And what about hope... I dont know.
I guess the only thing we can is just hug each other digitaly.

I need hugs too. Damn, I'm so pissed off at Bioware. What the heck was that cop out? After the whole premise of the series being that your choices have serious plot implications and consequences upon what happens, the ending then comes in a bubble which renders everything you did previously, every choice you made, ever sacrifice, all of it- completely irrelevant. Just three canned endings which varied in no significant way, and were already done decades ago in Deus-Ex. AS IN EXACTLY THE SAME: destoy, fuse, or control.

I don't feel empty. I feel ripped off. I want my money back.

Something has seriously changed in Bioware's culture as of a few years ago. Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins were brilliant, genre-defining games where we as players actually made choices that mattered and affected the plot.

However, after the awfulness which was DA2, and combined with this complete slap in the face of absolute disrespect for customers that was the ending of Mass Effect 3, Bioware will never again receive one red cent from me. If (and a rather large "if" at that) ever I purchase one of their games again, it will be a used copy just to make sure that they see no profit from it.

I just don't believe how much that crappy ending ruined the game (hell, the series) for me.  Its like finding a turd at the bottom of your ice cream sundae.
