I'm 17 years old and this ending has left me feeling like some world-weary old lady awaiting her death. Never have i been more emotionally destroyed by a videogame, i have been playing these games since i was 11/12 and i literally feel like my childhood has been ruined.

I had my heart broken. My love, Liara, is marooned on a random planet without my shep. They were totally in love. I really feel like I just lost a loved one. That's how depressed I am about this ending, no joke. I really need a hug.

Sorry thought that the 15th was a release for all of the Asian countries where it will be available.

I finished the game on the 8th and I've been lurking the forums since then. I only now decided to post about it, but oh my god. Dx My roommates have never played the Mass Effect games but they do follow them. My friend has been laughing at me since then. He had seen the endings on IGN and bet me a chipotle burrito that he could describe my reaction in a 6 page comic. For never having played the games it was surprisingly accurate. xD Whenever I rage about it they just chuckle.

I didn't shell out $300+ on all the Mass Effect games/books/DLCs and invest 500+ hours into their products for BioWare to screw me like this. They must either change the ending or risk losing a vast majority of their loyal customers.

Funny, I didn't think anything could lighten my mood right now, but watching Hitler rage actually managed that. Thank you, good sir, and kudos.

Still, wouldn't mind a hug. OP's avatar reminded me how I felt when Liara leaned on my shoulder before the battle, and how everything was invalidated soon after.

I never find out if Earth recovered or if any of the planets I visited manage to rebuild. I never found out what happened to my crew - the ones I'd stuck with and grown to care about over three games. I never found out if my decisions to save the Rachni or Krogan played out for better or worse over the years. I never got to find out if I was exonerated as a hero, and if that in turn manage to ease Liara's heart break at losing her lover.
