I just can't bring myself to terms with the ending of this game.

I only beat the game yesterday. The wounds are fresh. I have this pain in my gut from how awful the ending made me feel.

We have to let BioWare know how we feel. Even if we don't get the ending we want, we can at least make them give us some answers. Let them know we feel betrayed and we HATE THIS ENDING.

I feel like I've lost something close to me. Like a part of me has died. I can't explain this, I know its just a game, but I can't help but feel i've lost something dear to me. 

Mass Effect is beyond a game. It's a part of our lives; it's so real and breathtaking. That's why it hurts very bad to know how everything ends up being nothing.

Among my friends I'm known as the Mass Effect evangelist, because I always talk about how amazing Mass Effect is and I want to get them all play it. Recently I just got 3 of my friends buying ME1 and playing, but yesterday I told them not bother. I know they will love it like I do, and exactly because of it, they won't be able to bear the ending.

I need tons of hugs right now.  I finished the game Wensday.  No I did not start it early.  I played 24 hours straight.  Started from when I got home from midnight launch on Tuesday to around 4 am Wenesday,  took a nap and came back.  Those 24 hours went by in seconds it was so good.  Then the ending came Wenesday night and I was heartbroken.  Its now Friday and I still feel like crap.

I woke up with every intention today to play ME1 for some more Hang out time with the Core Crew, trying to pretend that the 20 mins of ME3 did not happen. But then on the start up screen over looking the earth, I started to break down again and just found myself staring at the title screen.

Yea i know its a game and that these are just fictional characters but damm it hurts. I remember the first day I went to the store and picked up my copy of ME1 for xbox360, I was so excited when I plopped the CD in the tray, and the countless hours of sheer enjoyment that it brought... now after ME3, I find myself wanting those days back.

I still feel so depressed about this. I was so excited for this game, I love the Mass Effect series so much and now it's pretty much ruined. I keep hoping this is a bad dream, I can't believe my favorite video game series ended like this.

I know what you mean. ME1 was the game that introduced me to Bioware. It was the reason I bought my 360. I spent tons of time on both the new and old boards hoping for a Garrus romance in ME2 and celebrated when we got one. Mass Effect has meant a lot to me for over 6 years and seeing it end like this is heartbreaking.
