I played this until 7 this morning because I after all the epic battle scenes I thought, "Well the ending will probably be mind blowing- I WONDER WHAT WILL HAPPEN?" then little kid, three choices, dad and son at the end with horrible voice acting.....I wanted to like it...I really did.....but just couldnt do it. What the hell Bioware?

Glad I'm not the only one that was so attached to this entire series. I mean, it and the characters are a part of me. And I just feel so betrayed by BioWare. Now I'll never get to make that home for Tali and live to see the Geth and Quarians live and prosper in peace.

Well ****.

I can believe that it's a labour of love, 90% of the game is absolutely fantastic, but did Bioware just not love the characters like the fans did? Did they truly believe we would be satisfied with this? I just don't get it.

I already need a hug with all the other emotional body blows that were entirely well written, deserved and proper for the game. I haven't even finished my first playthrough. I am enjoying things so far, and I am absolutely dreading finishing because I know that the end is going to kill me because of what it is and what it isn't and what it should be.

And, gawd help me, I still have three other Sheps that I need to march to their useless and meaningless slaughter ...

I just can't bring myself to terms with the ending of this game.

After getting struck by the Reaper beam, the setting was so much like the dream sequences that I assumed Shepard was unconscious and would be revived by someone to continue the mission after the 'nightmare' ended.

... and I think that's as good a place for any fan fiction / personal rewrites to start as any.  (Hopefully DLC will use this tactic to give us a more acceptible ending.  Or at least a set of endings we can actually affect by our choices.)

Dammit Garrus ordered Shepard to come back to him...

In my mind, all of ME3 was nothing but a dream. ME2 is what ended the series for me, everything after that is my own headcanon. And it's much better than what's canon...
