I keep babbling to my family about how upset I am about the ME3 ending and no one can relate.
I keep trying to remember how much I love the series, how terrific the storytelling was, how much I love Shepard and her crew. Like others, Bioware really got me hooked on gaming, especially a good RPG. The ME characters are like old friends; we feel attached and committed to them. I think that's why it's so emotional for everyone. Up until the very end of ME3, I only had glowing things to say about the whole series. I'm trying to hold onto that rather than focusing on my disappointment but it's not easy!
Anyway, big, big hugs. I can totally relate. You're not alone.
I have a big bag of peanut M&Ms if anyone wants some; they're the Easter/pastel ones. I think it's time to break out the chocolate and the booze. Garrus would approve! We'll have to get some Turian chocolate for him. *sniffle*

I'm so burned out right now, and I realized my Xbox has been running with ME2 inside of it, because I was going to go back and romance Kelly. I just don't feel up to it tonight...not sure if that will even change tomorrow.

I was having so much a blast, had even started my second character and was starting to work on another Mass Effect 2 play though. Now i just stare at the screen, hoping that the ending was just a dream, cant even play ME2 atm...ugg

I was sooo wanting to play the entire serie again, but after this depressing ending i'm not gonna touch my copies for at least a couple of months or even more.

Didn't even beat the game and I was so upset from just finding out about the endings that I literally could not touch the game for two days because I couldn't do anything but cry over the idea that my Shep is not going to get her happy ending at all. So I seriously need hugs and tranqs.

So this forum totally made my day. After 5 years and 150+ hours of gameplay to find out that this was how it ended... I can't even describe how sad it made me feel. But knowing that I'm not standing alone and that people are offering hugs has made my day significantly better. Hugs to everyone.
