It looks like Eurogamer just ran the hardware comparison side by side, PS3 (20fps) vs Xbox 360 (30fps), and it only confirms that the retail version is untouched from the demo version.

Meh, I am putting up with it, not such a huge gamebreaker for me so far. Either the coders/Q&A were lazy as I really don't believe that mega developer/publisher cannot hash out the PS3 to this day.

Before anything else, PATCH the way specters/shep runs in cutscenes. So awkward.

^^ You are putting up with this? Really? So you mean your game runs at 20 fps meaning 33.33333% worse than the 360 version and your are "meh... its ok"?

So when are you going to actually care so much as to not put up with this? When your game runs at 10 fps? If you and everyone else is putting up with such poor performance while having paid the same price, what exactly do you expect Bioware to do next time for your PS3??

You expect them to change their behavior? Why would they if PS3 users are "meh... I am putting up with this, no biggie".

I seriously cannot understand you my friend... seriously. You paid the same money for a significantly worse product (performance wise) and you actually are giving a free pass to Bioware. It shouldnt be that way... if you want companies to respect you, you should demand exactly what you payed for. You were promised 30 fps and you got 20. And you paid the same price.

I totally agree with you here half the problems with the ps3 version is the fact its running 720p which means its downscaling a game that was designed to run at a natural 1920x1080 (1080p) this means loss of content and also means it runs like a dog im sure i remember squareenix finding this issue with final fantasy which makes me wonder why bioware havent realised the ps3 owners are having full on hissy fits over issues that should be allowed to be fixed and need dealing with asap

Having played the gigantic mess that was (and still is) the PS3 version of ME2, I went into ME3 expecting the same thing. So far I'm actually surprised how well it runs for me (again, compared to ME2). I got a few freezes sure enough, and some of the in-game cutscenes play almost like a slideshow, but other than that I can't say it's ruining my experience of the game.

It's sad, but I actually got used to most non-japanese / non-exclusive PS3 games being terribly broken. That goes especially for companies like BioWare and Bethesda.

Bottom line: Incredible game, bad PS3 port (yet again).

I had no issues on my ME2 experince, but ME3 X_X. Also I do aggree with Deepthroat on his comment on "monst non-japanese/non-exclusive PS3 games being terribly broken".

Mass Defect 3...3 times the issues!

playing the PSN version. I find the Mass Effect 3 has significantly shorter loading times than Mass Effect 2 (Blue ray version). Nearly half as that. And I didn't experience any frame rate issues in the PSN version. Smooth as silk.

Hope Bioware fix for you guys.

this is starting to be clear that the issues are to do with the lack of installation on the hard disk !

I could imagine this very well being the problem, especially with people playing the PSN version reporting no problems at all. I think the PS3 version of Bayonetta had similar performance issues which only got better after a patch was released that allowed people to install a significant portion of the game data onto their hard drives. Would be cool if they could come up with something like this for ME3.
