Am I the only one who found It odd that Liara, the only squad mate in the game who can't die melds you with in London regardless of being her LI or not? Considering the look on Sheps face during its obviously not like any other time they melded with her or any asari in the past, which leads me to believe it was the gene-swap meld the asari do for children.

Really wouldn't suprise me after all Liara if she did that, considering all she did just to bring Shep back, requited love or not.

That moment in the game ... was very warm and compassionate, I did the friendship version where she loops her arm around yours and gently rest her head on your shoulder.. I wish it was a longer cutscene.. I wish there was a option for Shep to say.. Can we stay here alittle longer?

I was expecting an "embrace eternity" the entire time. Didn't get it. D:

I'm not super comfortable with the thought of being mind-raped. *shudders*

Strange. I'm incredibly comfortable with it.

Is that why I saw her in the flashback and not my LI Miranda?

Liara was my LI so its interesting that she does it for everyone, but yes, I'm pretty sure that was a bonding to make a child. At least I'd like to believe that.

I loved this moment. Best. Friend. Ever. Liara all the way. Still stayed with Ash.

Oh wow, she does that even if she's not your LI? She was my Shepard's partner, so I naturally assumed it was a joining. It is a little creepy if she yoinks your genetic code otherwise.

I thought it was a really touching and poignant moment, actually, and it made me cry. I didn't mind it at all seeing as Liara was my Femshep's best friend, and to me it was Liara's way of bestowing a bit of peace in Shepard's mind. A quiet, beautiful moment amidst all the chaos. Now that's a gift. c:

Is there an insinuation that Liara is prego at this scene? She was my LI, and had some line about "those blue children will be upset I didnt have a speech..." or something like that.

Any ideas what the context of that line was?

In LoTSB shep jokes about little blue children. I think it's a reference to that.

That's exactly how I saw it.

I remember that line... it's just that Liara seems certain you aren't coming back after the mission, and the line "... children WILL BE upset..." just had me stop for a moment. I figured it was in relation to th LotSB line, just seemed more prophetic.

I hope so, that would make the ending much less sad.

If you select the "What is it?" option, she tells you she's sharing her memories with you, that it's a way asari sometimes say goodbye.

I guess she gets her little blue children after all. It was very heart warming when I kissed her for the final time.

She explains that it is something do with close friends and is a way to say goodbye, basically she shows you her life through her eyes.

For some reason I got thinking that it was the start of how afterlife looked (dont ask). >.> Never occured to me it might be a joining... and Liara wasn't my LI. Awkward.

Aha memories make more sense. xD

The moment that scene happened and I saw her eyes, I immediately thought BANSHEE. Then I remembered, oh yeah she can do that, and I relaxed.

Having a baby with Liara certainly wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, couldn't be any worse than seeing Javik and Kaidan dead and bleeding.

I never cared much for Liara in the entire series. She was just kinda there.
But that moment made me fall in love with her. It was so simple, so touching, two friends in the dark, trying to find some light, relying on each other.

Liara was my Shepard's LI and I took it as a joining for a child. (or at least I hope so) I really did wish to see those little blue children. She evens mentions them which made me smile. I teared up at this scene though, it's hard saying goodbye to characters you've grown so attached to.
