 After 5 years of playing the same 2 characters (one fem renegade and one male paragon) playing through all the DLC loving every moment of all 3 games it comes as a great dissapoinment that the endings of this game were so poorley done. The last mission the 3 chocies to make and not being able to have any resolutions with these characters is silly. here is my LIST OF THINGS THAT WERE MADE POINTLESS BY THE ENDING

1) your romance- you cant settle down and see your future with that person so why bother
2) curing the genophage- all mass relays are destroyed in the 3 endings so who cares
3) creating peace between the geth and quarians- again all mass relays are destroyed in all 3 endings and in one of them the geth are wiped out as well
4)saving anyone- in the dlc the arrival it was shown that a whole star system would be destroyed if the mass effect relays were destroyed and in all 3 of the "good endings" movies the relays are destroyed so technically all life in those systems should be destroyed.
5) caring about the relationships between your teammates and yourself- you die in 2 of the endings and in 1 you barely live with no chance to get back with your crew since they left the solar system and there are no mass relays.
6) getting to know and care about your team- you dont find out what happens to your friends in the future except the normandy crash lands on a planet.

Yea how do you get ending where shep lives? What galac ready leavel?

My readiness level was about 6500 and I got the Shep-lives ending.

But yeah I agree with the OP... the entire list.

My LI got stranded on some alien world while my Shep is stuck in the ruins of Earth. Talk about a punch in the gut.

I went to great lengths to build lasting peace between the Quarians and Geth, including having Legion sacrifice himself, only to murder all the Geth to kill the Reapers.

All the Mass Relays were destroyed. Given Arrival's revelations about the power of the Relays, Earth, Thessia, Tuchanka, etc. are all destroyed.

The endings are super messed up. Which is a tragedy because the rest of the game is soooooooooooooooooooooo good.
