So I just finished the game and while the ending was good en all. I was a little peeved to find I couldnt continue playing after killing the archdemon and I was wondering does this effectivly make some of the current dlc - Wardens Keep and Return to ostagar useless to me because I buy I cant play them unless I create a new character ?

TL:DR - I was pissed I couldnt play after the ending does anyone know if Bioware have any plans to extend pass this or to play any new DLC are you gonna need a character who hasnt killed the Archdemon

No worries, man! The game creates an "Epilogue" save for you, which is actually a save before you go to face the Archdemon. Just check under your loadings!

Although the benefits will pretty much be wasted if you can't use them in the main storyline.

But I'm guessing with how the Morrigan story was left, well in my case, they are planning to resolve that
