Purely theoretical but I think you might have to be 100% paragon or renegade to get it. Im pretty sure the speech check is to keep Anderson alive, which I believe can also happen if you have a few more assets.

I like that all of the choices are beyond "paragon" or "renegade." They all have their own merits and of course their own downsides as well. I am still agonizing over that choice. I wouldn't try to classify them and just appreciate the complexity of the decision personally.

EMS rating can't be too high, else Anderson dies? I think THIS alone deserves a big "WTF."

Hahaha. Wow, ok, so that's the 16 different endings. That's the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Pretty sure Paragon Option is Destroy Reapers.
Destroy Reapers - Citadel goes boom, all tech screwed, genocide of Geth, Shepard saves himself, dark ages of separated galaxy.
Control Reapers - Citadel saved, Relays blows up, All races are alive, Shepard sacrifices himself, Reapers under Shep control capable to rebuild relays.
Seems a lot more paragonish to me.

Controlling is what TIM wanted to do, and it even shows in the little visions that Anderson would have destroyed them. My Shepard is like that anyway, believing that organic life should be able to make their own destiny... although I didn't like how the Geth AND EDI were blown up as a consequence.

Now I want to claw my eyes out.
Bioware, WHY did you give us such a horrible ending? I had over 5k effective war strength, yet I got what seemed to me to be the "bad" ending. This would be like in ME2 when Shephard dies, but one could honestly say that it was their own fault due to numerous bad choices.
ME3 seemed to punish me no matter what I did at the end.

There are only endings. No real Paragon or Renegade there, it depends on your perspective. I liked that concept very much.joe2pat wrote...
I dont even know what the **** is a paragon ending in ME3 Seriously can someone explain that to me, because I really have no idea of WHAT THE **** JUST HAPPENED
In my perception, the Destroy was the right thing to do, to give a chance to organics to commit the same mistakes again. Yeah, it causes chaos. But that's what life is. Chaos.
The endings -apart from the messed up fate of the Normandy scene- were really great, I think. They were much more than I'd thought good ol' Mac will come up with.

Why not just control the reapers, and have the reapers attack eachother? Should be simple enough.
It would be more productive to have them to rebuild relays, dont you think?
