Hey all, 

I have just found out that Amazon.co.uk have mucked up, despite sincerely hand-on-heart promising me yesterday that they will get it to me on the 9th (Today), despite not processing it their end till after 1:00PM and handing it to their carriers till 8:30PM.

I contacted HDNL (The carrier assigned to me) this morning and they told me that Amazon only gave it to them last night at 8:30PM so it was still in processing in their depot in Droitwich and i wont get it till monday at least.

Warning to all UK Amazon customers - at the very least if they sent it via HDNL you WONT get it till monday, and possibly even with the other carriers as well

I'm gutted, and hope it wont happen with you, but i feel i must warn you all

  

EDIT: i Would recommend everyone ordering through Amaqzon.co.uk to check and follow up their order, maybe if we cause enough of a stink, they will do something about it, i doubt it, but hey, its worth a shot.

That sucks, have always had bad experiences with expecting pre-orders to arrive on time so this time took the bullet and paid 5quid extra for the origin download

I ordered the CE game first class and the CE guide on super saver. The guide has arrived, the game has not. Go Royal Mail!

Luckily I also ordered another copy via Shopto.

Same here, I got one of the last PC CEs and even though its being delivered by HDNL its apparently out for delivery right now.

It may be that orders dispatched later missed the cut off point and won't arrive today.

Ordered with Amazon Uk and HDNL told me my Order was in Transit-Out for delivery_and should arrive anytime today.

Across the road is having it's roof  and garden wall repaired, so now every bang I hear makes me think that my game has arrived.

Very annoying.

I'm tracking my package on amazon prime, and it currently says *In Transit* last checkpoint was Warrington at 7.14am considering it was in Droitwich last night, i'm confident it will come today as my guide came in the exact same way and still got here just after 1pm on wednesday.

Pretty sure mine goes through Royal Mail. It still hasn't arrived, but I get another batch of post normally in the afternoon and I did choose 1st class delivery, so hopefully it'll arrive.

Amazon have finally gotten back to me, HDNL have f**ked up, and i only have a 10% chance of getting it today, and as they don't work over weekends, the earliest i will get it is on Monday, they have apologized and said they will give me an extra month of prime to compensate.

It could be worse apparently, another guys CE has gone missing, and wont be receiving a copy at all, poor sod.

we are apparently the only two people i know that have been shafted in the UK - lol.
