funny though, i live in a block of flats, and just thought id check my postbox downstairs so i go all the way down stairs (5 flights, no lift) to find nothing, and go back up - as soon as i get back into my fla,t the buzzer sounds, my package has arrived, so down and up again...
not complaining tho, at least i have my copy now, chunkier than i expected.

Its HDNL who are rubbish I payed for expedited delivery and they did'nt deliver until about 1730hrs and then just pushed it through the letterbox and scarpered.psychobudgie wrote...
Amazon tend to send stuff out at the end of the day. I'm frankly amazed that it takes 2-3 days to be honest. Their delivery service is up there with play.com for being awful. If they weren't a global goliath their delivery would probably put them out of business.

This whole UK CE thing has been a disaster! EA/Bioware should step up and feel the consequences after this ****up!! >_<

Again, i would blame the carriers, EA and Amazon/play.com/shopto.com/etc would both have quality checks in place - and damage you have, i assume, is more like transport damage - hence the fault of the carriers.
contact the comapny you ordered from and tell them what happened and have them take it up with the carrier, and explain what was damaged was a rare item - which has become devalued (Its a collectors edition after all
EDIT: Oh and take photos and other evidence of the damage which you can send to any of the companies or organisations that ask.

I did take pictures of it and left packaging feedback with pictures. I have no idea if the insides are okay, but the outer case is pretty damaged and the spine is sticking out as if something really heavy was put on top of it! This happened despite me kindly asking them to pack it securely, but they apparently don't listen to their customers...
I also e-mailed Amazon about it and told me to return the damaged one(for resale?
Hopefully they'll pack it securely this time around!!
