Bioware has told a trilogy-spanning joke with a terrible punchline. I expect Bioware to give the ending the effort it deserves not only for me, but out of respect for their own work. For me, that "effort" simply means Bioware provides closure for the characters that went along with Shepard to the end. I also expect multiple paths; not simply a singular ending with slight variations such as hidden/visible cutscenes or palette swaps. I'm not looking for unicorns and rainbows, or anything as drastic as a complete rewrite. For others, though, it might take more for them to be convinced. These people should wait until they personally feel Bioware hasn't lazied their way out of a trilogy ending.
What we absolutely should not do, however, is encourage Bioware to just push this issue under the rug. Hit them where it hurts until they've earned their $60/$80 for a complete trilogy-ending game: what we paid for. If we do get confirmation that a facelift of the ending is not in the cards, I suggest anyone interested to sell their copy of every game in the trilogy. I also suggest we do the same if we go for a full month without word on their plans to fix their game.
I strongly suggest others spread this suggestion elsewhere. Check with Reddit, your clan's forums, or any other place where you believe this might catch on. Don't link to this post, since it will most likely be ding dong bannu.
