Mana (magic power, or whatever its called) for casters, does it regen with time, or rest or?
Health: regen over time, food, rest? how do you get it back?
Death: In the videos people fall, but if battle is won they get back up. Is there perma death? Penelties for near death (falling down) or real death?
Saves: Checkpoints? (man how i hate consoles crossing over into my PC games), unlimited saves, limited saves?
Linear: can i go wherever or doesthe game basicly herd me (not a bad thing). or is it somewhat open ended, main quest line with sidequests? maybe enemies keep you out of areas untill you cna handle them?
Sorry, looked at the manual, its a bit sparse (but i guess strat guides are big bucks nowdays (half the price of a game!). I have my preload on steam, but now that i have finished Boardelands a coupel times im getting ixcited about DA.

Mana and Health: I believe (though I could be wrong) that they regenerate outside of battle. I seem to recall how one reviewer explained that you didn't need to use health potions outside of battle because of the regeneration
Death: Characters get back up after battle, but I believe the game imposes some sort of penalty (broken leg, etc) that you need to cure with an Injury Kit.
Saves: I think you can save anywhere. My guess is that the game autosaves at certain points, but maybe not
Linearity: I think it's more of a main quest line with sidequests. It doesn't sound like it'll have as much exploration as the Elder Scrolls series, but I don't think it just herds you from point A to point B all the time
