Sorry If I sound like an Ad-bot but Dragon Age is going on sale on steam for 22 quid. I just thought it was worth mentioning for anyone who's not yet bought it. I kinda wish I waited to buy it now but oh well.

Can anyone tell me how the codes are broken up for the CE version on steam? Like do they give you one code for the Armor + Shale and then another code for the 3 items + Warden's Keep? And are they clearly labeled so I could tell them apart?

I believe you get 2 codes, a serial key and a promo key. The promo key contains the dragon armour, wardens keep and the stone prisoner.

So the keep is tied to Shale and dragon armor? If so that's lame since it would mean I can't buy the steam version then sell my physical copy.

Another question. Do you need to enter a code to activate the 3 items you get for free in the CE?

Those items are that book, the helm, and the staff.

You don't get them in the digital version. They were the retail collector's edition only iirc. Instead you get Warden's Keep for free to make up for it.

the steam collectors edition does add thow two books, the bogarts helm and the specail staff to the game.. the books are in your inventory right away, the staff and helm are found/bought/etc. They are just part of the collecters edition download. When you register your steam game the dragon armor gets downloaded. Then it also gives you two codes, which arn't labeled, one adds wardens keep, the other shale.

Thanks for the answers. Looks like it will be impossible for me to get Shale and Blood Dragon armor codes to sell them with my physical copy. Oh well.

Unless you plan on giving them your Bioware Social Account pw.

I most certainly do not, as I'd lose this account. Not a huge deal, I'd just like to upgrade to the CE though and be able to get back some of the cost by selling my physical copy.
