Merging with EA Will not affect the quality of our products. What a grave mistake.

YGBSM. Didn't someone once say that a permanent connection would not be required to play the game? And hey, because it's not Origin that requires a permanent connection it's technically not even untrue.

Have you tried reloading?

I'm guessing it's not as simple as that, but I've been getting those msg's for the past month, but have still been able to get into MP.

Also, sometimes quitting to desktop and restarting fixes the problem.

This isn't the one where it just refuses to load your galaxy at war map and then lets you into MP normally, this is the "our servers are down, you can't do anything but look in your options menu without getting an error message" one.

Rebooted. It's on their end, not mine. 30-35 minutes wait on chat but I know that will go nowhere. A server status page would really be nice IF I am not allowed to play my game without their connection. They installed DRM stuff on my machine along with this game. Is it really necessary if the DRM means diddly without verifying with EA regardless of the DRM data on my machine?

I noticed ME2 always complaining that there was no connection to the server but it played anyway and I just ignored it. How long has this server been down?

If you look over there <<< you see the 2 3 under my avatar. The forums knows what DLCs I have as well.

True, there weren't any problems with DLC's - everytime when I bought one, i had to log ONCE to authorize access, from then on the Cererus Network could be down and it made no difference at all.

I doubt it's unreasonable on my part to think I should be able to use single player content I had access to just a few hours ago in the very same game save. I could see requiring the connection for multi-player but needing the verification every time for single player when the game it'self is okay to load just seems off. I just think the DLC should function like their previous games but apparently that would be too much to ask.

I just got forcibly disconnected out of wave 10 on platinum. This sucks they should have at least said they were going to take the servers offline.

if the servers are down and you just wanna play SP , just restart Origin in offline mode and it doesnt need to verify when playing

If you start SP in offline mode do you still get the DLC working?

If not then this is an issue they need to address in ME4.

Will this thread still be up when the ME3 servers go down for good? There will be sad people who would miss MP. Or new players getting the game late. lol.

Yes, if you set Origin offline AND disconnect your computer from internet, you can play SP with all the previously authorized DLCs

Ea servers SUCK! On saturday i was hosting my game on MP and in the middle of wave 9  i get this message you have lost connection blablabla and my internet was working with no problems so yeah they should fix their crap its kind a pissed me off:) No offence but this is the truth.
