In fact, maybe now that I had about an hour to think about it, the worst part about the ending is that all the stuff you do in the previous games seems so tiny, so small and pointless...

Awww, man, this sucks.
Let's hope a (good?) night sleep will make me feel better...

Likely it won't you'll be browings BSN and all of a sudden you'll end in a rage over issues you didn't even know you had from ME3. Trust me on this ya know how many times it's bubbled up for me? Just when I think I've been able to put it all bhind me it comes right back.

OMGosh, that is exactly how I feel...  People laugh at how upset I still am, but they have no idea.  I just need to stop reading anything bioware.  Then maybe just maybe I can move on.  I know it sounds cheesy but I loved this universe and with everything destroyed its very very hard to realize that its gone... Posted Image

Yeah, this is literally the only thread I even bother to check here. I just figure if I try to check anything else, I'll just get sad again. Here's hoping they fix it this summer. I know they're not going to totally re-do the endings, but I have a feeling that Indoc Theory is true (or at least that they'll use it as a means to wiggle out of this) and that the new extended endings will at least make the game replayable again. Naja, mal sehen...

see i am very cynical when it comes to bioware right now.  i forsee a liara moment with maybe the li talking about what she will put into gliph.  this conversation will explain what happens after the relays r destroyed with every major standing military in the galaxy stuck at earth, why the normandy left in the middle of the battle, mayb try and reconnect with the dark energy thread they completely ignored (cuz that would only be logical), i dont believe they will justify the godchild cuz only shepard saw it.  no one is going to be happy with it, and then bioware is going to say "see we try and make you happy"... "there is nothing we can do to make you happy"...  "this was just a bunch of hot air coming from a small percentage of the mass effect fan population"... Every "artist" talks about their work; they explain what it means, they talk about what they were trying to express through the piece, what were their goals for their "creation".  Bioware has done none of that, they keep spouting "artistic integrity" but they won't talk about their creation.  I don't have to like a piece of art to respect what an "artist" was trying to say, but it is a lot easier for me to enjoy a piece of "art" when I understand it.

Also it bugs the living daylights out of me that bioware asumes we know what is going on in their heads.  they have spent countless years with this project.  they know every story inside and out, they know what happens to story lines that they had to cut to keep the game cohesive.  they dont understand that it feels incomplete, to them they know what is going on.  its like the harry potter movies.  the director and script writer assume everyone has read the books.  they haven't, my father didn't, he doesn't really understand what is going on because parts that were important to explain who, what, when, where and why were left out.  the harry potter movies just show the how.  that is how i feel about this game.  i feel like i have missed an integral part  to the story, and it would be such a simple fix.  but bioware won't get off their high horse named "artistic integrity".

Can't believe anyone would pay that much for a replica of the base assault rifle...

I got this instead, custom painted by a propmaker. It actually shoots.

But am I the only one who thinks Liara's bigger boobs look odd, and just unbalanced it's hard to explaine but her bigger boobs just look wrong in that outfit like the size of her boobs and all just don't look right. She's got these little chicken legs and arms a tiny waist and then her whole chest looks square and it looks like BW disigned that Liara look and aftword were like "oh she don't got bigger boobs let's just enlarge the boobs and throw the whole character look out of whack by doing so"

It looks wrong so odd and wrong.

That one is actually better than the original. My language skills not so great. More poetry to this version. Maybe I should make a plaque that says that next to where I'll display it. Posted Image

Hopefully I can leave out the bit about a broken game. Miracles still could happen with that DLC.

Right?

As Garrus says sometimes blind hope is all you have left, and well Garrus you SOB how many damn ME3 quotes you give us that pick me up? That one, the one about "Until your best friend picks you up dusts you off and we go back out ther and kick some more @ss' A tressure trove of Motivational Posters for Garrus quotes in ME3.

Cecillia Miracles can always happen, and even if that fails we still have Fanfic. which has been my source of salvation since ME3 came out, ohh how I was broken Hearted by the lack of Samara continuation in ME3. Ohh and I  also vented some of my Hackett frustation in my last chapter to breaking points.

Fanfic all around Productive and Good for ones mental health?

I'm sorry, what mental health? Can't have much left of that and still cling to IT. Still, that's what I do. That and loop "Techno Turian" on YouTube.

I don't write fanfic myself, but I can see how it's a great way to keep you sane. Just to get to vent stuff, and cut stuff out that NEVER HAPPENED. If DLC doesn't set things right, I'll have to write my own ending as well. It will probably include some tragic deaths, but also lots of sunsets and babies.

I was also upset about how little Samara there was in ME3. I miss all of my old ME2 buddies.

Hold the Line and turn Mass Effect ON on the 28th!

I always just figured it was the thickness of the armor that made them look bigger.

Nope, I've exported most of the models out of ME1/2/3 and the ME2/3 Liara (Without armour) has _much_ bigger breasts, wider hips, thinner waist and, strangely) _much_ smaller feet

It's a general gamewide "female in-game model" thing. Every female's boob's got bigger, including Shepard's. There's a motivational a few pages back I would grab for you that point's this out with a side profile of FemShep in ME 1, 2, & 3 but I have to get going to do RL stuff before I'm late.

Let me tell you a sad, sad story.

Once upon a time in a distant land (yes, Europe), there lived an extraordinarily geeky little girl. She grew up to be even geekier and filled her home with movie posters and action figures from all her favourite geek franchises. She dreamed of getting one of those awesome replicas of Andúril or Obi-Wan's lightsaber, but never could afford it.

Then one day, the geek girl discovered something wondrous and beautiful on the internet: An M8 Avenger Replica!

Mass Effect had always been her favourite game series and had grown to become her favourite franchise of them all. The geek girl loved the universe and all of its characters (except the ones she loved to hate). She loved the story, she loved the music and she loved the visual design of it, especially the M8 Avenger assault rifle.

The geek girl started saving money so that she could pre-order this fantastic replica. It wasn't easy on a student budget with all the hefty import fees and the shipping cost to her distant realm, but she knew it would be worth it.

Then finally came the blessed day when she recieved the package with its precious content. With the eagerness of a kid at Comic Con, the geek girl opened the box to find her long awaited fabulous, beautiful, fantastic first big investment in collectibles
