I'm still here. Stopped posting since I ran out of ideas (and some other stuff is going on). As for Ashira...

<looks at Ashira's tumblr page>

She appears to be playing Skyrim. I believe she is working very hard on her next novel as well.

Llane,  Ohh thank god, Your both fine. I was so worried you'd become more causulties of the ME3 pain. Or something else. Good to know your both still lerking around.

Something many prolific fan creation posters here have succumbed to. Some of us just get so fed up with the whole ME3 mess, we leave the franchise behind. We lost JoeLaTurkey to this. I went dark for some time before deciding it was unfair to my readers. There have been others along the way. The BSN boards are a much different landscape to what they were just a few months ago. Now we get COD leetspeakers and pwnzers dominating much of the boards. Thus is what EA has wrought.

That stuff...
Many thanks for explanation.
Not sure why I didn't get it in first place - either because I missed too many blows in my head before, or because of recent blow to my morale, sanity and psychic intergrity caused by double playthrough of ME3, for weapon grade X sake for third playthrough...

I too have succubed to it, I've also relapsed back into it a few times. Most often when I see people of certain fan bases telling me to just suck it up and be happy with the content I got with my LI, and I should feel lucky because I shouldn't have even been given that much content because that character never deserved to be a LI.

Often times the more I see that sort of thing, my subconius mind triggers it as an attack on my ME story and the character that is the most cuicia to it, my l LI.  It triggers a subconsius act of  when I post I find a way to subconsiusly sneak in a retalatory posts directed at said Character/LI for saying the actions of but a few dick heads in that characters fan base.

The other day I had a very decent level headed memeber of one of those fan bases PM, asking me to try and be less argessive toward that character, just because that character has a big fan base with many jerks who like to glout and talk down to the other fanbases it makes that character look bad, but when the smaller fan bases retaliate it makes it harder for those fanbases to gain more support when they are coming off a bit argessive.

I really miss Ashira,  she was an insperation to me in so many ways, and probally the biggest Samaritan here. Always level headed and I never seen her loose her temper here, and attack any characters. I'm an extremly outspoken and loud fan, and I tend to be hotheaded at times.

Ashira was like the life blood of the Samara thread, since she's been gone, I've tried to keep it pumping and flowing but it's like it's just dried up since she's been away.

Tired, angry, sad, annoyed and maybe a little forlorn. I want to ready my ME3 playthrough for the extended cut but I've just managed to limp my way over the Thessia mission and have left the save sitting at Horizon. I'm finding it more and more difficult to motivate myself into playing it. Though multiplayer is a different story because my internet is currently being quite the cloaca.

I will eventually finish the oneshot I have going, for anyone following my fanfiction.

Also yes, writing a novel, you can check my signature for info about that. Chapters and lore can be found on my blog, smaller bits of lore and musings on tumblr. My actual published book is on amazon, again a link is in my signature.

And now for some weak humour:

I know that feel :(

Especially the motivation. I can't play SP anymore; I've got my save sitting at just before the Cerberus Base assault.

Plus my MP oddly crapped out, so I can't play it until I get that sorted out. Odd how my online pass just stopped being recognized <_<

Though I hope the Extended Cut doesn't fall on its ass; I'm sure there will be loads of motivational material for you and everyone else to take advantage of ^_^

*hugs* oh man I was so worried that you left for happier places Ashira. I'm sure the time will shortly come when we all leave this place behind due to ME3 pain. I'd like to hope that there is some salvation in the future with DLC, but I've only got blind hope to base that off of. Dang it, Ashira I was so worried you'd left us without a farewell.

*hugs gears and Cossack* I'd leave a message on here similar to Joe if I were leaving. I'll still post but will be mostly lurking regards the rest of the forums.

And le sigh.

Posters like GLR are also part of the reason I went quiet. I got very "tired" of people posting in the wrong thread no matter how many times I repeated myself.

So GLR, please take your non-motivational - and not even mass effect related - imagery out of the motivational thread and post somewhere else. Not in the caption thread because your image isn't even mass effect related. Just post somewhere else.

*hugs Jessica* You do. You also get two motivationals that I can think of right now.

One minor side effect for Shepard after dealing with Morinth...

Posted Image

And one more cheerful and lighthearted -

Well whatever it was, I sent an orbital strike down/in it. Suitable end for that Reaper punk.

Because as we all know, reptilian babies need milk...since Krogan females, being reptilian, would obviously have breasts. Totally.

Well on the plus side Horizon is only one Priority Mission away from the point of no return so technically you're already ready for the EC.

Aww, can't view even half these images in college due to Photobucket blocks.
