To be fair, the Krogan appear reptilian compared to Earth reptiles, but they're aliens, they're something entirely different that probably doesn't have anything analogous on earth.

I think it's design oversight - they are machines, they no need to blink their "firing chambers" to talk. That's why I liked Sovereign - totally unnatural, no "lets wave mandibles".
Same goes for quarians' light, BTW.

Its the human part of them I am sure, because cold blooded creatures can totally mate with warm blooded creatures.

We don't know enough about Krogan biology to say what is and isn't possible. That being said, I find the cross-breed babies disturbing. So much so that I never noticed Wrex has five fingers in that picture until someone else pointed it out.

Anyway. 'Female = boobs' is dumb. I'm glad Bioware never did that (in Mass Effect).

WHAT? I never noticed that Wrex had five figers in that pic till you just said it, WTF?  BW never gave the female Turians boobs, or Salarians, or Krogan, wonder what the Volus and Elcor femals look like, also BW gave all the Volus boobs, and  all the in game Volus are dudes.


In order to be female something don't need boobs, in fact humans are one of the few speices on earth with that sort of distinction of male and female, sure their are other distences in male and female animales but it's not boobs.

If I remember biology correctly I am quite sure all mammals have mammary glands.  Thats a lot of animals on earth that have "boobs".  The turian females do have boobs, there arent any turian females in game though... and we don't know about salarian's because the only female in the game we have seen was wearing a giant robe...
