I will address the main concerns I have, with the storytelling itself.
The kid stays but only in the form of psychological guilt, wearing on shepard from those he has lost.
The more allies he has lost, the more the dreams begin to break him down.
Paragon rating, allows for him to become pyschologically healthy, thus being free of the nightmares.
Renegade shepard, will slowly become worse from a mental health standpoint and the dreams will appear more often.
First James Vega is gone, it's not that he is bad, he just isn't needed.
In his place, we'll put Wrex, because lets face it, if we want a over the top badass, Wrex is our guy.
Even grunt would have been better.
Second I am going to make the Rachni queen being saved, mean much more than Grunt's squad death and 100 Rachni to help with the crucible.
Lets go ahead and add some bad ass Rachni warriors in the mix, that help in the front lines with the krogan.
Along with the prothean squadmate, I would have added another crew member.
Saren!
Secretly cerberus took skeletal evidence from his demise from the citadel, back in mass effect 1.
On the side of the Lazrus project, he also was being build alongside Shepard, but he couldn't be completed due to the fact the illusive man needed to get his hands on reaper techonology.
The Illusive man, thought by rebuilding Saren, he would gain valuable insight on the reapers and his twisted vision of human reaper perfection.
He also believed Saren could be controlled to make a powerful agent.
You would have found Saren, now reconstructed with reaper tech, restrained in a cerberus research base and he has no interest in helping you and you would have the ability to destroy him there or take him with you.
He gets back to the normandy and with the help of Garrus (if he survives) or through reports, he learns of his homeworld's demise and causes him to reflect.
He learns of relatives who died, and comes to grips with the fact the reapers controlled him and now free of their control agrees to help shepard stop them.
He becomes the perfect Anti- Hero.
There is other stuff I would change, but lets get to the endings.
First there is no conduit, however there is a cruicble.
The last battle stays largely intact, except for harbinger playing goalie (he would also be incorperated more int he story).
The Citadel looks much like in one, beings killed by the reaper forces.
It doesn't look like a blender of bodies.
You take your team in there, and fight until you get to the panel at the end.
While anderson keeps in contract with you into half way through.
You get there, and the illusive man is being controlled just like Saren was and nows serves as a mini boss.
You take him out and then Anderson makes his way into the open room.
You discover he has been possessed by Harbinger, who has brought a Banshee with him, who happens to tragicly be Samara (but is another justicar if you picked the paragon option in your meeting with her, which I would change too).
depending on renegade or paragon rating being high, after the battle, you can stall Harbinger long so the console isn't damaged.
endings.
1. You kill the reapers, with energy from the weapon, that targets reaper processors killing them instantly.
You have lost friends, but you have won and now can live a life without war and enjoy your love interest.
As you get insight on each crew member who lived.
2.You Kill the reapers but your emotional state is shattered, you are considered a hero, but the torments of war cause you to live your live alone and off everyone's personal radar.
3. Shepard dies at the end, because the console starting the weapon is damaged so he has to manually start it from there, if your fleet's ratings was not high enough as well, the Citadel becomes too damaged and will blow up with the energy pulse.
4. Shepard is knocked out by one of his companions, if your renegade or paragon isn't high enough. You have to pick who stays to arm the bomb, much like in one, if your fleet isn't high enough.
5. If your forces rating isn't high enough, the Citadel gets destroyed by the reapers, and they win.
6. If your forces strength is is 75% full while you are on board of the citadel, the normandy gets shot down, even though you arm the weapon to beat the reapers, Shepard throws himself off the edge of the citadel in grief.
7. If you didn't pour enough resources into the cruicibal, the weapon doesn't work and it comes down to fleet strength, which has to maxed out to even to have a chance. Depending on Galatic readiness they win or lose.
I understand not everyone would have liked this, and I understand they need work.
However I feel many of the people upset, would have liked these endings better than what they got.
Sorry for the typos and any wrong work useage.
