Yesterday all of the itemsand characters i had unlocked in multiplayer vanished. I also received the welcome to mass effect 3 multiplayer page again as if i had not played it before aswell as the starter packs  :/

They better refund all the points we paid for or should have backups of what we had since I remember in MW3 they had backups of unlocks/levels even the titles and restored them. I'd think they have backups for this too with the listing of all the items we had.  The sad thing is this bug was in the demo and common knowledge but they didnt' fix it.

Same here. Logged on this morning, everything gone. I'm getting dropped from MP matches atm as well. Wasn't happening couple days ago.

this is depressing. I haven't lost stuff this much since Ultima Online which was owned by Origin Games before EA bought them and destroyed it. The problem is about 100 dollars of points bought and lost. Some were EA cash cards too...

This has happened to me as well. The bigger problem though, is that it still lets me connect to games, but I can't actually interact with anything in the game! It's like I'm a walking ghost or something.

level 80-90 and evrything reset.. cool starting over with 2 guns.. oh yep and bye bioware points... that i spend after buying the addon.. )

I have the same issue, bugged out and lost all my upgrades, including cash paid for EA bought items. I am down about 24 hours worth of points.

24x60=1440 1440%=82.28 82.28x17000=1,398,760

Credits lost 1,398,760 not counting the 20$ i spent on origin points.

Okay. I just had this happen to me. I had rares(Krogan Soldier, Claymore), and most of the classes unlocked. A few of my unlocks were from bioware points leftover from buying ME2 DLC, the rest from playing silver.

I hit shift-F1 to add someone, and my game froze on me. I had to close with task manager. Upon loading it up, it froze on me while "Connecting to EA", so I had to close again. I loaded it up, tried to open Origin ingame again, and another crash.

So, I loaded it up once more, decided against trying to open Origin, and it welcomed me to multplayer and offered me a starter pack. Wtf?

Then I get ingame, and while I'm still a Krogan Soldier, my gear is gone. And if I go to characters, it says the Krogan is locked. So I can load it up as a Krogan, but if I go to change chars, I suspect I'll lose my krogan.

Has anyone gotten any feedback on this or solutions? I lost hours of time as well as actual money invested in Bioware Points.

Same issue here, I am level 114 and lost all the unlocks =/, contacted origin support and they told me to wait 12/24 hours for the issue to resolve, i also spent 20 dolars on bioware points, got some rares and now all lost.

Anyone got the items back already?

It looks like one massive screw job on those of us who wished to play multiplayer and encountered this "unfortunate error" because they are "working" on a fix. The techinical support specialist said he had no idea when Bioware is going to correct their mistake. I'm sorry I have spent a substantial ammount of money above and beyond the purchase of this game because I don't have the extra time to farm the credits necessary to have decent equipment and I wish to see this issue resolved soon.

This has just happened to me, and I am rather surprised to see more people suffering this "glitch".

Personally I would not be too bothered by it if it wasnt for the 15 Spectre packs I bought with Bioware points. If nothing else I would like those points back.

It happened to me when I failed to connect properly to a match, and the odd thing is that the character I was on at the time is now locked, but still selected and useable. The default weaponry still shows the upgrades I had installed on them previously, but they do not appear/have effect in matches.

Outside of the loss of items though, the game is still playable.

I spoke with EA. They said they know of the problem and an update is being fixed to deal with the problem. You should get all your stuff back, as your Pack history is recorded on a server.

Also, it happens most oftenly when you load the Store, or still have the Store open, when the game begins.

Wait it out, its only recently out. Believe it or not, this is actually quite normal for a new release game, especially a multiplayer peer to peer game. Not everything is in their control.

Just happened to me.
Got the message "Welcome to N7 Spec Ops" and was able to purchase a new starter pack. Everything else (exept my credits and Character levels) is gone.

Same here, although fortunately I haven't lost much. When I equip the Mantis Sniper Rifle or the Katana shotgun I can't change the weapon mods, although some are on there. On my Heavy Pistols it works though, although I might have gotten this 1 later (can't remember). The mods that still are equiped do not seem to have any effect, even after creating a new character which uses the same weapon.

Please fix this?!

Had alot of gear as well as stuff bought with Bioware Points. Will I be refunded my money I lost?

Bugs are common, yes, but in all my time playing vidya I have never enountered a bug that resets pretty much everything. I have seen bugs that null single matches from a game or your most recent unlock(s).

Also @ ShadowsBan3, I didnt look in the discussion section before posting here, tech support seemed more logical a place to post about the issue.
