Wasn't ME3 supposed to be the longest game of the trilogy?

I've read this a lot, but realistically speaking it took just 25 hours to finish it in my 1st playthrough.

Just to clarify, I took 40 hours to beat ME2 the first time.

Is it just me or this game seemed rushed and short?

Also, is it possible to sell a PSN digital copy of this game?

Thanks!

I'd say it's comparable. 28 hours for ME3, 24 for all of ME2 including DLC and most of the side quests, and probably a little over 30 for ME1. ME1's long time isn't so much the questing, but the travel time and the use of the Mako for resources.

Hrrm. Are you comparing the "time required for core content" or the "time required for everything?"

Hmmm I'm about 32 hours for my first playthrough. If you rush through the game I suppose it would be down to 20 hours.

I'm around 24 and not even through Rannoch yet. And I haven't hit Thessia at all.

My ME2 first play through has 38 hours(i think this includes some time spent idle), and my ME3 has 39.

Lets compare the time to do almost everything. ME3 seems shortter than ME2.

I am not talking about ME1 because I played it on the PC a long time ago, but it was the longest mainly because of the Mako, I agree.

I am disapointed with the end of the trilogy and I felt ME3 was rushed to be in the stores, like if they had a deadline or something.

I also want to know if I can sell a PSN copy of my game. I never bought a full game on PSN before, but I was so excited to play ME3 in the 1st day that I even pre-ordered it (in my country I would have to wait sometime to get the game in disc). Now I think I should have waited a little longer to read all the USER REVIEWS in this forum. And I am certain I would not have bought it.

*disapointed*

The time measurements are for the average gamer - not the obsessed no-lifer who has to rush all the content.

There's always going to be people that beat the clock. There's a lot more content here that isn't timesink like ME1 or planet scanning in ME2, that stuff is done quick and the gameplay is a lot richer for it.

I don't think trilogies work that way.

Also, is it possible to sell a PSN digital copy of this game?

What do you think Origin, Steam and friends were invented for?

Well, it took me 25 hours for ME3 + DLC. ME2 with all DLC took 42, so without all but one DLC it should be something like... 36? So, it's either the game is a bit shorter, or importing a 30 level character made it easier.

I've logged 36 hours... I've done every side-mission available, talked to everyone as much as I can. Got pissed/lost/confused trying to figure out some of these citadel quests. Not to mention some of these bugged missions made it pass testing. So that added to my time.

I've completed the game with about 50 hours on insane ( lots of sightseeing and all sidequests included ). But still, in ME2 I had about 30 hours, but on ME1 ( and I'm talking about 1 character ) I had over 70 hours ( mostly because of the Mako being too slow to scour a planet grid by grid in an adequate time, but still )...

Well my ME1 playthrough was 51hrs, ME2 with all DLC and 100% mining completion was over 52hrs, ME3 was a bit over 36hrs and that was with all planets scanned for all assets, pretty disappointing. I knew it was going to be a lot shorter because there are no side quests that compare to ME1/2, no planet mining side quests from ME2 and of course no planet exploration from ME1. Even the main missions seemed short to me, I didn't feel like I experienced an epic quest like I had on Illos, that frozen planet I can't remember the name of at the moment that housed the Rachni Queen or even DLC quest Project Overlord. I was shocked to see that the MP maps were identical in the main game, I expected that the MP maps were cut from a much bigger map within the single player game.

I also explored extensivly in each game to search for items.  It is much harder to find items/people in ME3.  There is a much shorter range to see an indication something is there.

Importing a level 30 character makes it easier...

Way easier.

A situation in which a lower level character is pretty much reuqired to flank can be straight up charged by a team of level 30s.

Just no way around it. I wreck face on my Vanguard, and have from the start. I'm fairly sure that's the case for all players who imported.

it was a bit shorter. i can usually tell i'm reaching the end of ME games by my 300th save and at that point i was 25 hours in. then 4 hours later i was done. ME1 took me 35 hours and ME2 took me around 40 hours so it was shorter by my standards.
