So when I met up with them, they were mid-battle. The next plot point was the geth flagship. Normally, I don't do two priority missions in a row. I learned my lesson from ME2, and it saved me earlier in the game when I had my ducks in a row for the Citadel turning point. However, there was something about this one that smacked of the Suicide Mission - that if I didn't do the battle immediately, there would start to be losses (like the Normandy crew in ME2).
Just curious if anyone knows if that was the case or if anyone got that same vibe? It was the first time in the game that I felt truly compelled to "do this right away!!!" However, now I've got the Rannoch missions unlocked, I'm going to go do some other quests. I'm always leery of that next game-turning plot point! :-D
