You're not alone, colleague ) It's an issue BioWare allowed to be released. They're "working on it", and we all hope they will fix all issues with importing system. INCLUDING impossibility to import Shepard's face from ME1/2.

yea well the games first release has been a few days already and they still not got round to fixing?, i think i might be close to Nailing my original shepered, i got ME2 and 3 running the same time to try compare the diffrences as close as possible, im still disapointed in doing this but i cant wait till Bioware fixes it, it could be weeks for all i know

Someone already posted a solution, a real one at http://social.biowar...47811/3#9249327

This fix and steps are the best for reclaiming a facsimile of your Shepard to tide you over until a patch is released- I just inputted the code the process gave me and tweaked the missing features and voila- as close to Allison Shepard as possible.

OP, this is problem with ME2 save games, apparently. According to my google fu, ME2 didn't save a face code for characters imported from ME1 (only new characters), so it cannot be imported to ME3 again.

Your ME2 save does contain all the face parameters, however, but not in any handy form. Basically, what you can do is use a save editor to access said parameters, recalculate them into slider positions and set them all manually in ME3. It's a lot of work but it gets you your Shepard back just as s/he was in the first two games.

This guide worked for me (ignore the content warning, that particular page is work-safe): http://masseffect.li...com/656484.html

That's not true. What it is, if you didn't choose Customize after importing, a face code was never generated and that is what ME3 uses to import the face.

I had a save in ME2 where I imported my FemSHep from ME1 which I used to import into ME3 where I just selected Customize and did nothing else, then accepted and saved in ME2... The face imported correctly into ME3.

Also, as far as I can tell, there are some faces/options that are just not possible to replicate in ME3. For example, a certain hairstyle for the femshep simply does not exist in ME3.
