I read alot about this bug on other forums (italian forums), don't know if it's a problem with the Italian version only, the N7 edition or something else, but basically A LOT of people, myself included, are experiencing an hard lock of the 360 during the first loading screen before the Grissom Academy quest (the loading screen with the image of the Academy, after the squadmates selection and the weapon selection). It's not a dvd problem or a console problem, I've visited 4 or 5 italian videogames forum and basically everyone are experiencing this. I've tried the usual stuff: from HDD, from discs, clear cache, change resolution, quick save, auto save, you name it. Nothing.
This is a BIG issue, since the quest fails after a certain point in the game.

Any solutions?

EDIT: It seems it's affecting every italian copy of the 360 version

i would like to know the origin of this problem. could it be patched?

@baffostyle si ma spero arrivi un al massimo 2/3 giorni se no sono da denuncia. Con quello che costa un gioco al day one pretendo che funzioni. Un bug del genere non è un errore,è scarsa cura per il prodotto e la cosa mi fa incazzare non poco

PC collectors edition. Polish edition, played in english in Hungary.
Freeze during first cutscene (Edi and Joker on bridge), and fullstop. I am in need of urgent assistance, otherwise the children at the academy might not make it...

So the bug is present only in the Italian version of the game or what?
Please spread the word, more people need to post in this topic if they experience the same problem. The chances for a fix are few, we need to be vocal about it

più che altro è betatesting pari a zero.
ora non sò come stà messa la verisone PC, ma pure quella ps3 ha problemi gravi (npc che spariscono, pop-up, framerate ballerino)

ora, gli faceva schifo fixare il tutto e ritardarlo di 1 mese? tanto oh, non è che ad aprile esca stò pop di roba d'avere una concorrenza più agguerrita

i wanna go to the academy,i think that it's the only place where i can find a powerfull biotic like jack,and jack is the best ;-) adn anyway i don't wanna lose a single piece of the story

no da problemi anche a me che non ho importato. C'mon bioware, do something for christ sake you too my ****ing 90€, i demand a fully functional game, for god sake.

tutti nel senso anche versioni in altre lingue? i don't think it freezes for the same problem in different place of the game. i hope bioware team work all this week end. i was waiting for this game for so long =( epic sadness

please Bioware fix this bug
some of us stopped playing the game; other are even waiting for fix before buying the game
without this mission, some important NPC can't be recruited, and also every review say this is one of the most beautiful quest

so please! fix the bug soon!

@kledran a te da problemi nello stesso identico punto?hai modificato qlc parametro facciale o simili?
il problema l'hai riscontrato prima o dopo aver scaricato il dlc dal marketplace?(sempre che tu l'abbia comprato ovviamente)

Same here too, unfortunately, just got helplessly stuck.
Italian X360 N7 CE version (with English language pack), running from discs, imported ME1+2 saves.
