We do not have a patch for this yet, but the team continues to work on a fix.
In the meantime as a work around, you can continue to play Mass Effect 3, but you do have to skip this mission. I know this is not ideal, but it does let you continue to play ME3 until a patch is ready. This mission is not part of the critical path, so the game can be completed without playing this mission.
Thank you for your kind reply. Nice to know the endings aren't messed up by the quest.
Yet, as I see, someone told that this quest is related to some achievement, so without it it could be impossible to achieve a 1000/1000 gamerscore.
Once and for all: is this true or not? I can totally skip the quest (sadly) as long as it doesn't matter with any of that.
Yet, if it DOES matter, story changes..

I really appreciate your efforts and I completely understand that the high number of variables is not helping you in the fixing process.Ryan Warden wrote...

Issues happens on every development project (and trust me, I know very well what I'm speaking about) and despite the size of this one I wish you best luck to find a solution in short time.
I submit this little report (I doubt it'll be helpful but I try anyway):
- ME3 Collector Edition (Alliance Edition)
- Xbox 360 Italian
- Imported ME2 Character (previously imported from ME1)
- Adept class
- 12 Squad Mates alive from Suicide Mission in ME2
- Played all DLC
- "From Ashes" DLC installed (already done)
- Normal Level
In my humble opinion, yelling for petition or similar is not the right path to speed up the solution finding, it's better to cooperate with many accurate reports as possibile.
I'll wait for any news on this thread.
Thank you for your support.

Are you joking? This mission is FAILED after the "priority - the citdadel (2)", and is unable to be played more further in tha game. I just lost 6 hours of game to get back to an older savegame and be able to do it, because i continued to play ME3 and then i recieved the message of the mission failed. So i will not continue to play the game until this mission and the "Hanar Diplomat" are fixed, it will ruin my game without them (3 main characters are in these missions) -.-

It is not a part of the critical path but if you do not play it you loose the possibility to meet some old friend (I can't say more to do not spoil the mission as I made trying to find a solution on internet).... so no. there is no way that I will not play it. I want to play it as every one else in the world (not Italy).
So please find a fast workaround ( a true one) or patch it.
Or if you prefer let us know that you don't care about us but stop giving us so stupid solutions (you can't play it? then dont play it).
Thanks in advance.

How can you tell that? The reviewers used a debug version that seems not affected by this bug. If the developers in 72 hours didn't find the solution yet in front of the source code and debugging tools I don't know how we can say where lies the problem.
I am not sure about that of course, but that's the only remaining possibility.
Think about it.
Italian gamers are the only ones who encountered this problem.
The only things that make us different from, for example, English gamers are the game version and the xbox version.
Now, as I know of people playing foreign versions of the game who have encountered the problem nevertheless, I would say that the only thing left is the Italian XBox360, wouldn't you agree with me?
Also, keep in mind that even if the problem lies in the XBox, it is really hard to actually discover its reason, not to mention the procedure to fix it.

All of us knows that the mission can be skipped but this cannot be consider a workaround!
I remember to you another time that each of us give to EA and your company at least 70 bug-free euros and we want a game that is fully functional and not with some side-quests that cannot be played for a clear lack of beta-testing and quality controls!!!!!!
Release the patch!!!!!

That's a RPG we're willing to play, achievements and endings are just a part of the whole experience.
Now that I realized WHO you meet on that quest, I think I'll just play something else until this is fixed, which anyway, is absolutely NOT NICE.
In any case, the question about the gamerscore is quite relevant for me as anyone, not last for those who already lost the quest and moved on.

Chris
I got an idea for another fantastic workaround that surely will resolve the issue: you (or your company off course I don't care about this) refund us for what we spent for this bugged game until the patch is released!
What do you think? Is even better than the incredibile workaround that you suggested, isn't it?

If I'm not mistaken we can complete Priority Tuchanka and still be able to complete Grissom Academy. Am I right?
I'm glad to read you are continuing to work on a fix. Luckily ME3 has a wonderful multiplayer mode.

As Chris Priestly said it is possible to finish the game without playing that mission... This means it was possible to release the game without that mission... or that it was possible even not to have this problem not having any mission at all like, in example, not buying the game.
Now... you know law entitles us, during the first 2 months after purchasing, to a full refund in the case a product is flawed... and this would be perfectly the same as not buying the game...
Sure if i had to do something like that, considering all the hassle of sending it back and everything... I would make sure not to have to do it again and thus not buying products from a company that didn't check the final quality of the product and shows that it doesn't care for its customers enough not to make obvious comments like Chris'.
