Ryan, in a forum surfaced a news about the problem, which apparently could be due to a missing file on the Italian DVD. Can you check it out or say something about it?Ryan Warden wrote...

You need to chill out. It is a game. Only a game. And stop saying it's unplayable, because it's not true at all. If you don't want to play it, it is ONLY your call. I hope BioWare will take the needed time to make a fix, and to make it good. I am upset, yes, that's all.
If you by a brand new car, full optional (collecctor's edition), would you accept the engine to turn off as soon as you use your air conditioning? Sure, you can go without but you could also use a bike, or your feet.
or would you accept an answer like contactiong who sold you the car?
I don't think so.
It is nothing irrational asking to use what we bought.
It is far more irrational answering something that sounds really like "hey guys, most of the things work, who cares if you miss something?!"

This is exactly the point... we paid the same amount of money as the other people, they did get the full game, we didn't.
It is true that a bug in a so big project is possible, but it is also true that a so big project has a very big amount of money to be spent so that it is the best possible experience.
And while we are here talking Cerberus, the Reapers, modified Rachni and some other minor annoyances are ravaging the galaxy.

I've been on these forums, reading the posts, watching people raging over a game since I ecountered the "grissom academy" bug. I'm not angry because it's pointless, Bioware is working on it. Just play the game, skip that mission and by the time you've completed the game, a patch will come out. Then play the game again. I know you people planned on playing Mass Effect 3 more than once. What's the big deal? That's the only bug I've encountered and I said to myself "Oh well, I'll just finish the game and play it again and again and again like I always have done with the Mass Effect games, like everybody has done." So just calm the f**k down, people. It is just a game.
I agree with you.
Personally I would rather not be able to play one optional mission, than to not be able to even boot up the game. If you can actually play the game, consider yourself lucky. There are quite a few of us on the forums who can't even get the game to load past the "Press Start" screen; because it freezes before it gets there. One of those threads has been on this forum for a couple days (five days ago) before this problem was even posted. We never got a response. Not until I posted in this thread, asking for one.
Yes, I understand that you cannot enjoy your game fully. I would be angry too, but what do you think it's like for us who can't even play any part of the game; who were ignored on these forums for five days? While this thread was started three days ago and got an immediate response (same day from what the timestamp says).
I'm not trying to anger you, I'm not trying to provoke you. I'm only pointing out facts, that you have it better than you realize. You can still play and enjoy more than 95% of the game, which is better than watching the Bioware logo repeatedly hoping it won't freeze this time. Your pleas for help were not ignored, they were acknowledged. Your game is not an $80 paper weight. It actually works.
Take it for what you will.

That's why I'm not complaining. I just skipped that mission because I read somewhere, a few days back, that some people couldn't even get past the "Press Start" screen, but I didn't mention it in my previous post because I thought it was only a rumor. I hope everyone else here realizes how lucky they actually are to be able to play the game. Some people chose to stop playing the game because of that bug and I think it's ridiculous since other people actually cannot play the game at all. I'm enjoying the game now, and I'll enjoy it even more when that patch comes out and I'm gonna play it all over again as a badass renegade . If your game doesn't work at all, you have all the right to be angry especially because you've been ignored for quite some time, but if it's only one sidequest, please don't rage quit because it's simply childish.

I read the thread, and I understand your opinion, but you have to consider we're an entire country with a unplayable game or partially playable, because the game continues to freeze on loading screen and autosave corrupts everything you've done since you start the mission or even freezing the console. We complain about a lack of testing for at least 100'000 copies (i don't know how much copies were sold at the moment, is a rough estimate) of the game, against 3 or 4. Your error is a very marginal and probably unfortunate and unacceptable, and I hope that you will be refunded shortly. We have to make a only front and make our voice be heard, not to clash over who was less fortunate. We want a clear and simple point, a patch for that mess soon as possible and nothing else. Do not take it personally because it is not my intention.tykimykk wrote...

If you come to me and told me to make a dress for example, as you would expect it to be done? I guess you want it perfect and without a single stitch out of place or at least not the external ones. We all know that behind a huge production like this small bug can escape, and basically we do not care either, because at the end is not going to affect the overall enjoyment of the game, but when it comes to a problem that affects even on the console i'm not willing to compromise. So before you make judgments to hundreds of people, try to think more globally, instead of saying "Oh ok, so now I play it like this and after I finish it to again, who cares ..." this is to talk like a child.

And this is valid for both the copies were some mission is not working and for those where the game doesn't work at all.
I will wait for the patch... and I don't feel stupid or whining for this. I want to play the game fully and to follow my own path through it and I think that everyone who paid for it should be able to.

We do not have a patch for this yet, but the team continues to work on a fix.
In the meantime as a work around, you can continue to play Mass Effect 3, but you do have to skip this mission. I know this is not ideal, but it does let you continue to play ME3 until a patch is ready. This mission is not part of the critical path, so the game can be completed without playing this mission.
Are you kidding me?This is your workaround for the issue?
Just to be clear i payed for the a full and functioning product not for a partially working one that can be played if you skip the broken parts, are you able to understand that?

I'll just keep playing as Chris stated, hoping for a patch release for my trilogy playthrough.
