I had the same "freeze problem". At the beginning I thought it was a malfunction of my disc but since I bought two copies of the game, I tried both discs with the same result. Screen freezes during the loading...

I hope you will find a solution soon. It would be very appreciated. I moved to the Sur'Kesh mission. Will I be able to complete Grissom Academy after Sur'Kesh if the problem get fixed soon?

Hi everyone,first of all sorry for my "hanar english".
Me and others 10 xbox live friends have this same problem during the mission "Grissom Academy".
Sono inca***** come un krogan:ma chi ve li fa i beta testing le scimmie?
Qeusta è l'ultima volta che compro un prodotto Bioware al Day 1,è talmente buggato che se la gioca con Skyrim.

@fefferico la cosa strana è che il problema senbra interessare solo la versione italiana del gioco e penso sia per questo che nessuno se ne sia accorto prima. in ogni caso mi sembra un'idiozia,che c***o di gioco non supporta una lingua?uso l'italiano,mica i geroglifici dell'antico egitto. sinceramente spero ci lavorino immediatamente dato che con i miei soldi gli pago lo stipendio (lavoro->guadagno->pago->pretendo)

hanar english is one of the best "nerd" expression i have ever heard =)

Same problem and same story.
Anche io sono arrivato al punto di CERBERO ma cortesemente non asputtanatemi tutta la storia.
Dove devo fermarmi per non perdere sta dannata missione? Qualcuno ha mica provato a scaricare il lenguage pack inglese? Magari se il problema è la lingua, sta cazzo di missione parte.

Se leggi più sopra un ragazzo è andato avanti e infatti non ha potuto completare la quest.
In pratica andando avanti non è più selezionabile.

I confirm aswell the Grissom Academy quest bug on Xbox 360.

It happened to my brother (the copy that I bought him, regular version) and it shares a common thing with the others: it's the Italian version.

So to sum it:
- Lock up on loading screen while loading the Grissom Accademy, just after selecting the weapons
- Italian version of the game, Regular one
- Bought and installed From Ashes
- Installed the English VO Language pack
- Imported character

Even deleting the English VO the mission won't start, on my PC copy it plays fine and so far it seems to have affected only us Italians.

PLEASE do something quickly! One can't just skip a key mission like that becouse of a localization oversight -.-''

For the Italians: Pure qui capita la stessa cosa, sia cancellando che lasciando il VO English pack, ed ovviamente a mio fratello ora rode perchè non può andare avanti visto che la quest poi non sarà più selezionabile -.-''

I don't have From Ashes or the English VO, so I don't think these things have something to do with this bug...

I read in another topic about  "freezing bugs" that a possible solution is to wait a couple of minutes before the game fixes it by itself. I don't know if this will apply to this issue too. I may try. I doubt the disk can be damaged if I await a couple of minutes, right?

I'm gald to hear the bug is not related to From the ashes DLC or the English voice acting file because I'd prefer to not uninstell them.

I hope we'll hear from BW soon....

We can skip it but we'll renounce to a very key mission, especially if you care a ME2 character encounter....
I can play MP for a while but I want to continue SP

The problem is for italian x360 version
i'm asking someone i know with ps3 if they too get the problem

it happens to almost everyone, with or without DLC, with english or italian language, etc
it just... happens!!

please Bioware fix this... a lot of guys are complaining and forum are full of people arguing they will not buy the game until game is fixed, or they whant sell back or other unpleasent talk
(all are frustrated 'cause they whanna play the game but are stuck...)

And remember Bioware,not everyone can connect their xbox to internet (expecially in Italy...) so,you sold a product that is sooooo heavily bugged to many people and I think this is a very unprofessional thing.

Same configuration of LuPoM (N7 Edition, italian version) and same problem.
Please BW, fix this bug!

For IT: anch'io ho provato di tutto, ho cancellato il DLC e il file con l'audio originale, ho tentato tutte le combi****oni nella scelta dei compagni di squadra, non ho fatto l'upgrade alle armi nè ho distribuito i punti esperienza nella schermata di inizio missione ma niente da fare.

I have the same problem. Tried every possible thing suggested in this topic and nothing works.
Please Bioware hurry up and fix this bug, the Grissom Academy is a missable mission too, so we cannot keep playing the single player without losing this mission.

Do you know if we can complete the N7 mission on Tuchanka without failing the Grissom missiom?

I really hope BW will fix is asap.

I kept the 360 on for almost 50 minutes and nothing happened.
