Actually it would be pleasant, but not necessary.
PSN was an all out blackout due to security/hacking issues, here we have a freezing bug on a not necessary quest. It's not like we start Grissom and our consoles catch fire. If you care about it (like I do) you just wait, if not you go on and catch up with it in NG or NG+.

Warden dovrebbero essere tradotti in italiano così anchi ne capisco qualcosa di quello succede sai com'è giusto per sapere se nn ho speso 70euro invano (e vi assicuro che x me sono un grosso grossissimo sacrificio)

simply we are posting in an american forum, this is Bioware's home. so we have to post in their language, they must understand what we write. if someone posts in english in an italian forum he'll be banned in half day...
semplicente questo è un forum americano, è la casa della Bioware, per cui dovremmo postare nello loro lingua, perchè sono loro che devono capire cosa scriviamo. è come se qualcuno scrivesse in inglese su un forum italiano, tempo mezza giornata e finisce bannato...

tu si che sei una persona intelligente, replicare in inglese ad uno che nn lo parla, cmq quando bioware avrà un sito ufficiale italiano replicherò lì intanto visto che prendono i miei soldi italiani e come ti dicevo nn hanno un forum italiano continuerò a replicare su questi in ITALIANO visto che mi capite tutti italiani pentiti che nn siete altro

detto questo I ask for a suggestion: i am stuck just before the loading screen where I have to level up my team members. I think I have only autosaves, do you know if there is a way to go back and play the game excluding the bugged mission? I have to restart everything?

Possible solutions:
1) Wait for the patch
2) Use a UK DVD
3) Restart the game and have fun

You're right. I was defending Ryan. I feel sick of all that rude people that think for 60 € they have the power, and are in right, of attack working people like Ryan that not only do their work trying to go out of this situation, but also take time to answer to us all. Other houses will have acknoledged the bug, maybe write "We're working on", and after 2-3 month we will had a patch. Without updates. In the black screen thread developers don't know nothing about the issue and say small or nothing. Here, in this thread we have continue updates about the state of the art. It's simply wrong be rude. No excuse.

I was tired on the train returning from work. I will be honest, I've taked some time to understand "pisciato spento". Only after near to write pissed off I've understood. That was great, really. :happy:

didn't you save your game at all? Do you always use autosave? That's not wise. I save alot and i keep track of my savings like i know that my 44° save is the one whan i lose this quest. If the patch shows up soon i will reload it and replay the event after, if the patch will arrive next mounth i will restart the game for the second run.

you should have an autosave on the normandy before you enter in the planet landing screen. At least i had that one too.

To all those who feel robbed of their money, implemented the much-publicized move "him back into the store, that'll teach you bioware! 1111!" Any game store will exchange it with a voucher and you can take another game and then GTFO of this forum.

If you do not want to take it back, be patient as the others are doing.
You are not the only ones who have spent 90 euro.
But in my opinion, your behavior is exaggerated.
Above all, we have not been abandoned, there is a person who is doing everything to make us have a patch for this problem, even having a direct contact with fans.
Stuff that does not happen in many other SH.

Se invece non volete portarlo indietro,pazientate come stanno facendo gli altri.
Non siete l'unici ad avere speso 90 euro.
Ma secondo il mio parere il vostro comportamento è esagerato.
Sopratutto non siamo stati abbandonati,c'è una persona che sta facendo di tutto per farci avere una patch per questo problema,avendo persino un contatto diretto con i fan.
Roba che in moltre altre SH non succede.

Yep I could understand the bad luck, which never happened before on foreign purchases.
Anyways "my" Xbox 360 copy was a gift for my brother, which called where I bought it and asked for a refund becouse of that issue, they said "yes" so I've placed an order to get him a copy from UK.

That doesn't mean that I don't appreciate your work on the issue, as a dev myself I understand it. It was just a tremendous oversight on the testings here in Italy, if they tested the sku correctly, and that means ALL if not almost all the sidequests aswell, there wouldn't had been any issue.

Just another thing: besides the mission not loading, starting the game gives a corrupted image at first, then it becomes earth with reapers falling down. Not relevant to the sidequest bug but that's what made me think that data on the disk was corrupted.

Questa cosa da fastidio e molto, sono d'accordo con tutti voi. Ma non ci possiamo fare nulla e sbraitare contro la BW o la EA non farà magicamente apparire una patch dal nulla.
Io ho preso il gioco al Day One, ma tra lavoro e altro ancora ho la possibilità di fare la missione, il che vuol dire che non è possibile fare altro e nn giocarci 24/7 fino a consumarlo (cosa che dal mio punto di vista rovina anche l'appeal del gioco).
Ma oltretutto per i perfezionisti c'è anche da portare la reattività galaticca al 100% lo avete già fatto tutti? oppure sbloccare i PG segreti del multi, insomma altro con la quale ingannare il tempo, quello che volgio dire è appunto questo, Gustatevi il gioco e confidiamo nella Bioware, altro non possiamo fare se non dargli tutto il nostro supporto e se avete qualcosa da dire pensare a Baldur's Gate o Neverwinter Nights, poi continuate

This situation is irritating i'm agree with you. But we can do anything and shout againts BW or EA will note make appear magicaly a Patch forn the Void.
I've taken the game at the Day One, but among work and other i've got yet the chanche to do the mission, that means that is possible don other and not playing 24/7 until it burn. (Thin that IMHO ruin the appeal of the game).
BTW for the perfectionist there is to reach the 100% of Galactic reactivity, anyone have done yet? or unlock the secret PG of multiplayer. What i want to mean is to enjoy and trust on Bioware, we can do anything else but give their all our support and if you have something to say, think about Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights, then proceed.

Unfortunately, I think it's unlikely with the next patch. The next patch will contain fixes for our highest-priority issues, and the text issues are lower in priority than some of the things we're working on right now.

Sorry for the lack of replies. I've been away from my desk all day, chasing down more information on this issue. Here's what we know so far:

The "race condition" seems like it wasn't the true issue; it was masking the true issue. We believe that we have identified what is causing the issue and we are moving forward with three priorities:
1) Investigating to make sure that Grissom Academy is the only level affected by this (we are pretty sure that it is, but we want to be positive)
2) Investigating a fix. This should be fairly easy once we have the results of 1).
3) Investigating how to get this fix out to you. Depending upon the results of 1) and 2) there may be different methods that we have to use. For instance, we're only able to issue a patch for very specific kinds of fixes. We may have a downloadable option, but it might not qualify as a "patch".

So our programming teams and QA teams are quite busy right now, and we hope to have good news for you within the next couple of days -- certainly by early next week. In the meantime we're working with all our external partners to determine how we can get a fix out to you as soon as possible.

Thanks again for your patience. I'm sorry the news wasn't better, but we're much closer now!
