Anche se fosse come dici tu che sono stati lenti nel trovare il bug poi hanno "recuperato" facendo fare la certificazione EA in tempi veloci. Per via del prezzo secondo me vale quanto ti ho detto prima riguardo la collector.

someone doesn't understand that something can go wrong also after
betatesting, in the delivery process. The bad thing is that gone wrong
to Italian copies, so MAYBE Bioware Italy have the fault of not testing
delivery dvd's. But say that Bioware didn't done betatisting is wrong,
because they've done it, in the way they think is enough to devlier a
quite stable product to all (and to resolve later problems that afflicts
minority of players). That's the way to work introduced with the
patching systems, as always worked on PC platform. I remember Unreal I,
when a patch solved issues with a specific graphic card and you're sure
that another graphic card was broken by the same patch, and so on, for
about 353 patches if I'm not wrong. This model was introduced on the
consoles with the coming of hard drives and hot patching. Also because
we pretend now that a game is ready near after a year of the
predecessor, but prior of patching games was ready after 2-3 years from
predecessor. So goes the story...

C'mon, which kind of certification are we talking about ? MS do needs to be sure that a fix doesn't contain a potentially harmful code for the console due to they would be held responsible for troubles and they will be in troubles if the code should allow unwanted tricks, EA is certificating what ? Should EA ask to Bioware to check if a fix that Bioware produced is compliant with a game that Bioware produced ? ROTFLXMaverick wrote...

Noone here is saying that BW didn't do betatest on the original product but that they didn't do it for sure on the italian version, furthermore I don't know if the english version shows graphical glitches and various technical bugs but the italian one does and this is easily identifiable, other than conceivable as a cutting production costs system.
Try to sell a car which would leave on feet the costomers but in certain roads only and go check the answer of the market.
I agree that at this point there is only the need of a little patience, but please try to understand people's anger when one of those bugs completely prevent a juicy secondary mission to be played.

Microsoft is much more reserved of Bioware. Look at this morning issue, they haven't said anything and have resolved the problem.

I'm sorry, I missed this block. No, as previously wrote, MS act for code certification like as for Windows Phone apps. They didn't check for game-level consistancy. The contents are on your own. They check for patch stability (that means a lot of things, like patch will not harm Xbox profiles, HDD partition et cetera), that it is inside the side constraints of XBox Live system (for Windows App it's max 100 mb if I'm not wrong), that doesn't contains malicious software or evident OS hacks, ecc...
In fact, in the point of view of the console and console OS, Mass Effect 3 before Grissom Academy was perfectly stable. These 18 corrupted files do something that cannot be found using certification protocol followed by Microsoft. That's why the game gone on press with a bug like this. It's evident that even the most powerful certification process cannot find 100% of the ways available to hang a software.
I'm sorry I cannot explain more, but I really don't know exacly Microsoft certification protocol, as I'm working only on Windows Phone apps and XNA game, that are quite different from blockbuster and live titles like ME3.
