Hi all,

Is anyone else noticing that ME3 is only using your first GPU in a Xfire configuration?

I know that the system requirements aren't particularly high and for most people running it on a single card won't be an issue. However, I find it odd that AMD even release a Catalyst Application Profile (12.2 - CAP1 - http://sites.amd.com...p-profiles.aspx), which states "Mass Effect 3:  Improves CrossFire performance" as a feature, yet only runs on the first GPU!

Or is this exactly what the "improvement" in performance does? :o

Anyone sucessfully running it using both GPU's in an Xfire setup?

For reference, I'm running: 2 x Radeon 6870's @ x8 with CCC 12.2 and 12.2 - CAP1

try and alt tab out and then back into the game... this sometimes can trigger crossfire to start working ...

I know i had to do that in me1 and me2 long after they were released due to their inability to "work" properly out of the box with it.

Many thanks DHJudas, I'll give that a whirl when I get home! I've tabbed on and off before and it hasn't kicked in, however, I did set it to windowed (no border) mode almost immediately so I'm guessing the alt-tab has essentially no effect. Will set it back to "fullscreen" and try it.

Cheers,

Update: switched it back to full screen from windowed/no border mode and Xfire works perfectly!

Many thanks again mate, had been really scratching my head on that one!
