 is there any other way to obtain the weapon in the spectre requisition office aside from buying them?

no these are beefier versions of guns that can be found in the game so to get a widow with basically a clip you have to buy it in that office, besides if you do everything like me you'll have more then enough money to buy all the weapons in that office and then some

They cost out the whazoo too.

EDIT - I do everything and between upgrades and mod purchases, I still haven't been able to buy one.

I am some 14 hours in the game and only just did Sur'kesh

I want to make sure to get ALL possible assets to get my shep to live

well I play primarily sniper/pistol infiiltrator so I only upgrade two guns and I also got store discount upgrades from liara so 10% off a 240000 credit gun is alot and by the end of the game I just bought everything I could cause I had so many credits from alliance funding,missions, and generally not spending to much besides sheperds vice of model ships and fish

the price of these spectre weapons will probably be like Mass Effect where you dont have any money for them but on your second playthrough you have tons of money to blow.

I bought Black Widow mid-game and never looked back. Then I started NG+ and after a while I had 500k credits and no incentive to spend it on anything. Currently, I am playing Vanguard and saving up for the Wraith. I hope it's worth it.

Where as I tend to use everything.  I upgrade and mod my squad members weapons as well.  Even with the discount it gets expensive.
