Word?
You had time for that...but not enough time to write an ending that made sense?
Word?

Actually, if you're female, Shepard's already bisexual, which is why she can romance Liara T'Soni, Kelly Chambers, Samantha Traynor, and Diana Allers.
Since gay female Shepard has so many options now, my own opinion is that Bioware had to be fair to male gay people and give male Shepard the Cortez romance option.

Of course, this doesn't effect me and my Shepard in the slightest, and I'm obviously fine with girl/girl because I don't seem to understand that it's a type of homosexuality, but the mere idea that some DudeShep in another person's game might like another dude bothers me so much I feel the need to start a thread about it.

But Shepard's sexuality is up to the player.

Shepard is not suddenly canonically gay or bi because the possibility for those romances exist. BioWare didn't remove heterosexual romances and make homosexual relationships the only options.

I'm not anti-gay...but really guys? You spend 2 games building up the fact that Shepherd is obviously heterosexual...and then you pander to a very small special interest group and allow Shepherd to be gay?

You do realize you don't have to make your Shep gay right? There. Problem solved. Moving on.

You might claim you’re not anti-gay but that’s a little bit like the guy claiming he’s not racist but questioning why there are characters of different skin colour in his game because the game-creators should have spent their time doing something else instead.

They’re not pandering to a small interest group. They’re opening up and offering an unbiased experience regardless of sexuality – it’s a very sweet stand they’re taking. I wish all gaming companies were so open-minded about that kind of thing.

So wait, you're telling me that because I question the fact that they took the time to pander to gay people, instead of finishing the story properly...that I'm somehow anti-gay?
People like you are why I get migraines.
I'm simply saying, they took the time to put that much depth into a gay romance for femshep or maleshep...but they couldn't somehow make the ending options a bit more in depth.
Also, I stand corrected about my earlier statement that Shep was heterosexual in the first two games...I didn't explore the other sexuality options...and I honestly never played Femshep.
That being said, don't read into what I'm saying people...and don't try to villify me as some kind of anti-gay bigot.
I'm saying place effort where effort is due.

And instead of 'somehow,' I'd go with 'obviously a.'

I love how you quoted one part of my text, and didn't read the rest.
Therefore, you're irrelevant.

Oh, so THAT'S what you meant, Tomcat. You were objecting because you thought they didn't spend enough effort on the story, not because of what they focused effort on.

Yep.
thanks for paying attention to what I was saying.
