I'm asking this question because there is no bar for the squadmates in the weapon-screen of the game that shows the effect of the weight on the cooldowns.
If it is not the case weapon mods for squadmates, which reduce the weight of weapons, are senseless.
The digital handbook of the game says, that the weight has an effect on the squadmates.
If there is an effect on the squadmates Bioware has to release a patch, that adds a bar to weapon-screen of the squadmates too.
Any official statement?

I saw this answered on a similar thread by someone at bioware. Basically no weapon weight does not affect squadmates Cooldown times.

Than the digital handbook of the game has to be corrected(I don´t know if the english version says that the weight has an effect on squadmates, but the german does) and weapon mods which reduce the weight should be locked for squadmates so that there are no misunderstandings.
