Just now I got my copy of ME3.

I entered the disc, the installer wanted me to start and login to Origin. Done.

Then the Origin client asks for my product key of the game. I entered it WITH dashes between the digits/letters.

The code was not accepted?! Do I have to enter the code without dashes or something?

Please help me out?

Are in typing in the code for the game or for the promotional content? My game box contained two slips of paper with codes on them, and the one for promotional content lay on top, so it took me a while to figure that out (yeah, genius me). The game proper code contains four dashes, the promo code contains only three.

I used the code with 4 dashes... I only seem to have one code, put in the box on a sticker.

Blah, when I entered the code without the dashes, Origin client says the code is already in use....

Can some from Bioware CS help me out pls?

Try starting Origin and see if the game is already there under 'my games'. If it says ready for download or something like that, you should have registered your code ok.

I had a problem where I typed in the code but then it popped up and asked for the code again..So I checked and it was registered on Origin that I Had the game. Only problem was now it wouldn't install from the dvd's so had to do some tedious routine to avoid downloading it which someone described in the post : How do I install game from the disk [FIXED]

If your game isn't registered you should contact someone from EA's mass effect help center https://help.ea.com/...t/mass-effect-3

Not sure if yours is the same as mine but my actual game code was on an inconspicuous bit of white paper hidden behind some other flyers, not the glossy sheet code for the pre-order content or collectors stuff.

I'm downloading the game as we speak... Can't be bothered to do that workaround from the other topic.

Thanks for the replies :)
