Oh **** boy, Angry Joe is gonna be pissed about this.

I got ME3 the day after it came out, and unfortunately I ended up spoiling the Quarian/Geth thing by accident, and while I was browsing around learning how to save them both noticed alot of angry comments on the fourms, and I had to pull myself away from the forums to prevent spoiling what I thought would be the conclusion to the greatest series of all time, I tohught, "They're just over reacting becuase it wasn't a Disney ending." I was wrong.

This was legit the best 23 hours and 50 minutes of my life. My playtime was 24 hours. I was overwhelmed by the games beauty and deep content, in both single player and multiplayer, all the weapons, all the armor all the upgrades. I couldn't wait to play it again Then they pulled a DA2 again. Nothing mattered. Regarldess of my choices, everyone gets in the butt in the end. To be honest, it wasn't theendings themselves that pissed me off, though they did suck pretty hard it was the lack of closure and choice. It like under a dictatorship, I can chose to screw everyone over or screw everyone over. Pick your posion. Let's take a look at all the plotholes.

The Kid. Really, you just had to make this little bastard more important than he really was. You couldn't resist. This is almost worse than the idea that Shepard was the Catalyst (which I slightly expected). The biggest issue I have is (assuming this kid is God, otherwise we get into the "who built him" debate) is WHY WOULD I WANT TO DESTORY ALL SYNTHETIC LIFE WHEN I WORKED MY ASS OFF TO UNITE THE QUARIANS AND GETH.
I've heard some people think Renegade is the way to go, and maybe if you already chose the Quarians over the Geth (becuase the Quarians were obviously the bad guys). But this is also the most obvious way to continue the cylce. Meanwhile making everyone half synthetic is retarded becuase human (and alien) nature will still rule, and it will change nothing. Obviously Paragon is the way to go, the Geth live to help rebuild the world (as alluded to by Tali after uniting them) and the Reapers wil never be a threat again (right, Bioware?) Retarded ending choice is retarded.

The Genophage. Mordin died, and I lamost died, curing the Genophage. And what the hell was the point? No one had a significant effect on the war effort, becuase we still get stuck with the ****storm that was the ending. All the Krogan men (or at least 95% of them) were either dead or in the Sol System, so its not like they were be repopulating Tuchunka. Mordin died for nothing.

The Quarian vs Geth. Am I one who kept thinking "Stop ****ing everything up Quarians" when we were in the Dreadnaught" and "Well maybe you sohuldn't have started a war-druing a war." The Quarians as a hole were obviosuly the bad guys, only a few had any sort of brain power and I worked as hard as I could to save
both species. And for what? The Quarians finnaly get thier home back only to have it taken away two hours later. There was no moral conflict here and if I had to chose I would chose Geth everytime. Again, as if it matters.

The final push. Shepards plot armor kicks in again big time here. Only Shepard could surive that ****, poor Liara (my LI) and Javick. -20 minutes later- Oh hia guys.
-_-
Not like they got hit by a laser or anything (furthemore why did Shepard change out of his awesome Blood Dragon armor and into some pre-destroyed casual wear.

After finishing the game and skipping the credits (you should be ashamed, all of you on the Credits roll. I'm looking at you Hudson) I started looking back at all the choices we made and all the flaws the game had. I could have ignored the flaws, and I did. But not with this ending.

I am disgusted, the ending was dreadful and I played this game for 24 straight hours and I want my life back. There is no reason to replay this game, if I know that all I have and will woork for, does not matter. It is much better in DA2, becuase at least that was one game, a singular linear story that had a, when you get down to it, an ending. This is worse becuase we spent years buidling up to this, replaying ME2 to get the best and worst possible starts for the war we wanted to win. They told us we could win the war, but we have lost the war and so much more. Please, do not buy anything Bioware puts out from now on. Do not buy the "Lol, jk this is the real ending" DLC they will shove out for more money. Beceuase if you do you will tell them that it is okay to do this, and they will do it again becuase all they want is your money.

Woah now! Don't burn the disc yet lol, what are your thoughts on the EC? Did you play it?

I think it fixed a few big plotholes but still kinda fumbled at the finish.

Holy ****.
I take my sweet time finishing all the quests in those games and it's never taken me more than 30 hours in a Mass Effect.

They wont release a "real ending" because that would make too much sense.

Hey Commander Williams, stop hating on the Quarians. They're good people. They're just misunderstood. They blew up the reapers. Really they did. You just don't know it yet.

The EC wasn't much better. ME3 is a total loss. Some people are still trying to save it. We've got Indoctrination Theory; Puzzle Theory; and more! If they manage to save ME3 with these so be it. If Bioware has something big up their sleeve where they add one piece of the pie with each new DLC that tightens the story line and narrows the ending and leaves us with a clear choice by March 2013 and going "Holy sh*t! I didn't see this coming!" and has Shepard getting up out of that pile of rubble at the end at that point. I'll be worshipping at the altar of BioWare.

If not? We always have Elephant Theory. What's that? See my signature. In the meantime you can always head canon; or have fun with the cliche action hero movie ending, or write your own fan fiction ending.
