All these bugs and glitches a lot of people (including myself) are having - not to mention slowdown, crashing etc.
These bugs should have been fixed prior to the game release - and not after!

I told you already that you are getting zero feedback from my gameplay within the game and I meant it.

I have plenty of other games to play but I refuse to play a broken game that causes random glitches - 3 beep PS3 shut downs and other crap.

It's about time you listened to your fans!

The state of the industry is beginning to concern me. 2011/2012 has been terrible for game stability. You expect to see smaller companies release games that require tweaking after the fact, but the last three Triple A titles I've purchased -- Skyrim, Kingdoms of Amalur, Mass Effect 3 -- have all been slammed with serious gameplay bugs.

What in the heck happened to quality assurance?

I realize they can't catch everything, but some of this stuff really ought to have been snuffed before the game went gold. Considering the issues it has now, imagine what it'd have been like had it shipped late last year, as was originally intended!

I just hope they actually fix it. Bethesda is struggling just to make Skyrim work and 38 hasn't even bothered releasing a patch for Amalur... I really hope Mass Effect doesn't get the same treatment. :(

me3 is the only one off your list i can honestly say has a huge issue a lot of the issues caused with me3 could be cured but putting the install command in the game this clears a huge issue and stops the blu ray drive from being the bottle neck on the system!

Same here, ypmud. The frame rate in Amalur is fine, the only significant bug I'm experiencing is the audio lag (because, apparently, all of the sound effects are streaming from the disc rather than from the HDD). GTAIV has always looked fine to me (as have other Rockstar games). The only games in recent memory that have any serious framerate issues are ME3 and Skyrim.

Frame rate I can deal with - ME2 has it also.

The freezes/crashing do my head in and having to hard reset the PS3 can't be good for the hard drive or the PS3.

Each time that happens the PS3 needs to do a system check on restart. At this rate I'll be left with corrupt data and I'll be extremely annoyed if that were to happen.

This needs to be fixed as soon as possible!!!!

This will be my last post.

It's down to Bioware now to investigate the problems addressed in this thread and forum.

Plenty of people are reporting the same problems and other ones too.
The game feels rushed which was quite evident with the demo.

I've said all I have to say now.

Going Silent....

I laugh because I just finished Final Fantasy XIII-2 with ZERO issues. How is it that the JRPG developers can make a quality game, but North American RPG makers just produce bug ridden frustrations?

I know ME3 and FF13-2 are totally different in gameplay, but I have to give Square-Enix props for actually making a game that works.

I went to enter the firing range today, and it froze during the loading screen. Didn't feel like waiting through my PS3 rebuilding it's hard drive yet again after ME3 crashed my system. For PS3, this game is like a great looking sports car with a $#!* engine. Hard to want to "play the freaking game" when you deal with this crap.

the framerate is nothing like ME2 not even close... it is far far faaar worse in ME3 unfortunately. I can forgive a few bugs, but that performance of ME3 on PS3 is really unacceptable. Bioware should address this issue. They promised the same experience with 360 and unfortunately this isnt true. The performance is nowhere near that of 360...

I didn't have any issues with ME2(PS3) and DA:O(PS3), with DA2(PS3) they haven't fix the save file corruption issue yet..... so I CAN'T beat the damn game. With ME3(PS3) I'm not having any issues besides the N7 CE sound track thing , the game runs smoothly for me , just 2 freezes in the Citadel elevator but nothing game-breaking so far. I think some of you are exaggerating too much. And for what I've read the 360 version have more issues.

maybe you are more tolerant when it comes to framerate problems. If you see the 360 version you will understand. The fact that it dowsnt bother you doesnt mean that for the rest of us it is acceptable. somethin needs to be done.

PS: what are the specific 360 version problems? Apart from thr disc swapping thing there arent any iter specific issues regarding performance.

Υes ok but I dont think this is an example to even compare it with ME3. Skyrim was like the worst performance ever. It became virtually unplayble even to navigate the character. Sure ME3 isnt like that. But that doesnt mean that only if it comes down to that attrocious performance of 2 frames per second, a game should be fixed...

ME3 is performing very very very bad. Not 2 frames per second bad, but certainly not even close to the 360 version. And Bioware promised us a version that we wouldnt be able to tell the difference. We clearly can. And we need to hear from them what they are going to do about it.

The game cant get worse for any of you after all these complaints people. It can only get better, as happened with Skyrim too. People need to complain for valid reasons and this one is a very valid one.

After dealing with crap from Mass Effect 2 on Ps3. You'd think Bioware would have fixed all the hiccups for ME3 since ME2 ran on the ME3 engine.:wizard:

Yeah, I thought they'd at least make sure ME3 worked fine, since they were pretty much unable to repair the mess that was ME2 on the PS3. At least we don't have to deal with out-of-sync audio and every second line of dialogue being cut off half way through this time... <_<

Finall Fantasy XIII -2 plays well because Square understands the PS3 architecture (the original was a PS3 exclusive for a long time), but it does have its fair share of bugs. They're just harder to hit, and still haven't been patched (there's still at least one time gate that can't be sealed and reset for replay, thus breaking the intended level design, and enemies still occasionally ignore the character's ability to premptive strike).

There's also a lot less going on, code-wise, in the most recent Final Fantasy titles. I suspect they also playtest their titles more thuroughly (the PS3 version of XIII was rumored to be finished for almost a year before release, the decision to port it to 360 meant it got a lot more playtest time).

Some of us would love to play the game
But it is currently unplayable for a laundry list of reasons
I can't play end game because it chugs so horribly
Now I'm furious with the online play
Banshees & Phantoms are a nightmare to deal with when it lags (which is all the time)
because now their instant kill attacks ALWAYS grab someone
My character actually hovered to the banshee as if magnetized to the damn thing to be instakilled when I clearly dodged the attack
Also the Battlefield 3 Soldier doesn't appear for me
I thought I was playing a Bioware game but it feels more like a Bethesda game

Didnt realize these were ps3 probs only! I thought me3 was just not play tested like all ME games... again.....

post elsewhere on the matter

"Tons of sound glitches were sound goes in and out

The Asari
homeworld mission to grab the artifact was unplayable...(Frame rate
dropped to 2 frames every 3 secs? if lucky the whole mission from the
bridge-KL fight?! WTF Bioware?! DId you test this game?! I couldnt tell
what was going on the WHOLE TIME! Beat it, eventually...) I wont get on
the bad story during the fight and how I soundly beat him, but still
lose to him...)

The game froze my PS3 3 times...(once on Jacobs
mission when you hit the button to evacuate the game loads and doesnt
stop. You can press start and hear the menu moving around, but nothing
else happenes and you have to hard reset system. once after destroying
geth base/ getting the peace guy or one of the 3 missions there and
another I cant recall. There actually might have been 4...

Models disappearing during conversations
Models turning white and loosing all detail in cut scenes(example, fight in vehicle against reaper, vehicle disapears...etc)
objects from stage or props character is holding going missing in conversations and cut scenes
enemies suddenly turning invincible for a time right as they should die and being stuck knocked over.
Ignoring
the fact that I kept the collector base for me and the alliance if
anyone and told the IM to ****** off, but I magically give it to the IM?!
Playing full par, but my Shep randomly gets angry out of no where during conversations with no par option?
Thinking
that I cared about that stupid kid and forcing me to see him in my
dreams in that annoying sequence... Didnt care about some stupid kid
that shows up for 2 sec and dies. I laughed at it. I told him I could
help, but he says Shep cant do anything? LOL! Ok kid, run off and die.
see if I care? Oh, wait...I guess I did? Please, Shep see tons of people
die and that one kid wouldnt been the breaking point. Dreams about the
Asari home world or Thane, etc, but that stupid kid?! Against my Shep's
thoughts Im forced to care even when I dont remotely...
Havent got that far in the game, but I wrote on those.
SP
and MP, Cover needs to be toned down. The hitboxes are too huge and you
cant run in a straight line without accidently going into cover and not
being able to get off eithout going into another cover on the oposite
side!
Turrian in Embassy that walks to coke machine...his hitbox is
as huge as an Elcor and I got pinned not knowing he walked up and down
that lane until I was suddenly stuck by the machine and couldnt move due
to him blocking the way even with 3+ feet on either side with space
around him... I had to reload the game cause he wouldnt move...
Camera sucks when your trying to see a model upclose, but the model goes invisible unlike ME1-2...
---------
Ill update this when I finish the game"

This is some of my issues... I forgot some others

If you die in MP while runing and fail mission, you can hear the running sound effect looping endlessly while in the waiting screen to start a new session with other players... its happened almost every time after that situation occurs! I thought I was going crazy and realized what that sound was!

Still have the invisibility issue on enemies at random before they die when you sink 5 clips in them while they're on their last pixel of life... happens too often and is super annoying...

I wont get on the banshe that grabs you with her magnet after your 15 feet away from her when she auto kills you... like the ninja...
