 Is there a way to get both (name of the planet and the war asset)?  My Paragon Reputation is almost full and Zaeed died as I walked in.  I didn't gain his loyalty in ME2.  Did I do this mission too soon? Or was it that Zaeed wasn't loyal in ME2?  Thanks

It is possible, I got both.

I was high Paragon and just used the Paragon pursuade option. Zaeed was loyal in my game though, which is probably the difference.

I wouldn't worry though. The bombing squad is only worth like.. 25 or 45 points. One of the two.

Hmm...could Zaeed join you if he lived?

As an asset he does join you.

You can get both with the Charm/Intimidate option. Zaeed loyalty might be required too.

Zaeed can't be a squadmate, but he will become a war asset (25 points). Again, I imagine loyalty is a factor

 Mine survived, he just fights as an asset, you can't use him in your party.
