This is how I got it: when your download stops at some point and transfer rate goes to 0 just leave it as it is for couple hours. At some point it will resume and download From Ashes.

That's what I tried, too. I started it and went to bed. When I came back, it was shut down. I tried it again and noticed, that it resets itself after a random time and starts over - at zero, of course, because there is no resume.

I can vouch for CRYMOD's solution. Definitely works. If you don't know how to update to prerelease, just go to settings (under the 'gear' icon on the top right of the origin window) then scroll down and check the box that says 'update to prerelease if available'. after that close origin. and i mean really close it instead of just logging out. after that start it up again and it should ask you if you wanna update your origin program. click yes or install. wait for it to download and install then you should be able to download from ashes. it might still stop. just click pause and then resume. it should be able to continue where it left off again. as of now I'm at 32%.
