I respecced out of it, using a mod. Storm of the Century is fun, but it's too over-the-top for me, trivializing too much of the content. Fire/ Earth is more enjoyable for me

Cold damage/DoT of blizzard is cancelled out by the heat damage/DoT of Inferno, or vice versa depending on the order of casting. Assuming descriptions in manual/in-game are correctly implemented.
