Can someone please explain HOW DOES IT EVEN WORK
I mean I understand Shepard kissing his ehm... scars as an affectionate gesture, though he could not possibly feel it, but that passionate lip-to-mandible action? Does not make sense.
I liked headbutt of love. Now, I would have probably been pissed too if it was the only thing we would have gotten in the third game, but there are many ways to show affection AND heated passion without kissing
Dunno, just bugs the hell out of me

Shepard takes her lips, and presses them against Garrus' mouth. Then their mouths move.

WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT.

...you actually fail to see problems here?

Look, I know turian mouths are different from ours. I know a kiss would feel rough as hell, dry and scratchy, and that the teeth are sharp. Kissing turians is "impractical". Got it.

But it's a kiss. You're supposed to love the person you're kissing. And when you love them, all those things don't matter.

I've seen people kiss their pets on by the mouths. I saw a dog totally lapping up his owner's mouth (kind of sick but hey whatever works). Plus I don't think there was any tongue action with FemShep/Garrus...(if there was I don't want to know how they managed it).

Plus I think it's real sweet that even if turians don't kiss, he'd kiss her because it's a "human thing".

I'll take that as a positive thing. Though I'm not totally cool with turians being compared to dogs.

Dogs lick their own genitalia. I don't think any of the intelligent alien species in the Mass Effect lore do that. Well, maybe the Vorcha...

It'd be like kissing a bird on the beak.

People do that actually.

Oh no, not comparing turians to dogs at all. First, they're a sapient species. Second, yeah...no butt-licking (unless you kiss a Khajit from Elder Scrolls I suppose hahaha). Thirdly, my FemShep didn't chase after Garrus for his looks anyways.

But the kissing was unexpected, but super sweet.

^ I can confirm that.
When I was still living with my parents, we had a parrot. It was wildly in love with my dad. The two kissed all the time.
Not with tongue of cause  but you get the point. It can't have been that horrible.

Hell, I've been waiting four years to kiss that turian. They're getting their kissy on, biology be damned.

Saddly I have done this. It was more someone telling me to kiss the stupid bird ("It will be sooo cute just do it!!" Yeah No.), me attempting to kiss the bird and then the stupid feathered beast almost biting my face off. Idiot, he also tried to get me to put my eye near its mouth and give it "butterfly kisses" I was smart enough to decline after the bird tried to eat my mouth. I assume I looked a tab bit stupid that day or the Petsmart people are freakin' crazy or enjoy watching people make out with the birds lol.
I would hope that Garrus would not bite Shep, he's got some crazy sharp teeth and I don't see her lips coming out normal after that.

RL human males have been known to, if they're flexible enough that is.

I love Garrus. A lot. A lot lot. But I'm a bit conflicted about the kissing. It doesn't seem like something that would happen in turian culture.

I usually remedy this by saying that he learned how to court humans from the vids he watched. And humans really like smashing their mouths together for some weird-ass reason. Freaks. Okay whatever, Shepard did the head-bump thing for Garrus, he may as well return the favor in her culture.

Listen, I do agree that Garrus kissing her even though it’s obviously not turian thing to do is kinda sweet. O would have lived with it if they just pressed their mouths against each other. Garrus has no lips, so fll Shepard would feel was the touch of cold faceplate and Garrus wouldn’t even feel anything apart from worrying about hurting his partner, neither party would enjoy it, and I see no point in doing it, especially when there is so many ways to show affection and passion. But apparently I am wrong, since everyone loved the kiss.
My biggest issue
LITERALLY ESB BIG
Is the animations and horrible slurping sounds. Garrus and Shep don’t just press their mouths, and I think Bioware just used human animations, which simply look stupid with Garrus non-existing lips and sounds are ridiculous

Kissing Garrus on the cheek and on the 'lips' was probably the best moment of the game for me. I will keep Paragon interrupting him foreverz.

Flippin' amazing.

And stil the Garrus/FemShep romance is one of the best overall ME romance... <_<

Sure they didnt write a special animation for it. They didnt have the time or resources, we got it. But can we argue with their intention ? I think this time around its pretty clear. :police:

Garrus may win the best romance but that's mostly by default. The others are just lacking by comparison but overall his romance is still weak. This game/series clearly wants the player to pick Liara.

I'm interested. How is it weak?

Wait. Did a Jacob fan just say another character`s romance is weak?

I was surprised by it myself tbh, but after awhile I was just like "Eh, what the hell." because I liked his romance so much. I do sometimes still try to think of ways they could show intimacy without kissing, but I decided to suspend my disbelief a bit for Garrus.
