Don't feel like replaying any of the three games anymore, despite loving them all.

No I don't feel like playing Mass Effect anymore and that makes me really sad. These have been my favorite games for a long time. I've played through the first two countless times, agonized over choices, and now after only one playthrough of ME3 I can't bring myself to play my favorite series anymore. What sucks is ME3 was so good, right up till the end.
This is true. ME3 was good up untill the ending. They were on the right track all the way, and suddenly made a U-turn.

This is absolutely NOT a Dragon Age 2 situation. The anger and surprise from the community is not because ME3 is a bad game. It's because it's sooooo good that the ending is made doubly worse by that fact.
If it had just been mediocre I guess we'd have been upset but not outraged. 99% of ME3 is gaming perfection. Everything builds flawlessly to the perfect ending we all wanted. But then I don't know, it just comes off the rails and crashes spectacularly.
Content must have been cut. Or something changed. Because no-one could have green-lit this ending twelve months ago when they content locked.

Before I played the end, I was looking forward to my next playthrough. I can't even bring myself to play 1 and 2 again. I really wish I never finished the game and part of me wishes I never heard of Mass Effect.
I couldn't have said this better.
My own solution, I'm now entirely relying on my own non-canon events that I made up in my own mind over the past couple of years for specific characters. I'll just make up a better ending myself, for myself, and I'll pretend that it happened in the games. That's all I can do and I want to do it, because I love the universe of it all.

Empire Strikes Back = ME2, you had no idea what was in store for the third, just BIG revelations
Return of the Jedi ends it, but still leaves us wanting more but anything more would tarnish the two that came before it.
I feel the same with ME3

Its more like the empire winning in Return of the Jedi, despite all the efforts Luke and the rebels have put into winning.
Actually its more like an Ewok god convincing Luke to use the force to destroy the known galaxy to keep it safe from the Emperor destroying it with the force..

What about post EC? Surely the ending was cleared up and you can replay the trilogy right?
I personally headcanon what starkid says before I shoot the tube but that is my prerogative lol.
