I have two partions, one C: and D:.

It has taken me hours just to find my ME2 saves.

I finally managed to import my ME2 character but now the game will not save.
It does not create any saves in D:\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3\\Save.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've also tried changing the gamersettings to:

[SaveGames]
Location=C:\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3\\Save\\

The only thing it creates is Local_Profile.sav

I have a similar problem. I'm running ME3 on windows 7 64 bit, partitioned drive as well. the game will not even see my ME2 saves to import, but the main problem is that when i start a new character, gameplay is fine but it will not create a save file at all.

Hey,

do you possibly have ME3 installed on a different partition than the one containing your "My Documents" folder? In that case, you might try this simple fix: http://social.biowar...9712706#9713092

yep, that was it. thanks so much for the help--i'd gotten tired of playing the first level over and over
